Add fixed-width font options
Ticket # INC4849532 - Customer wants to use Box Notes to write documents that contain code-snippets and excerpts from logs. They would like to use a fixed-width font for these snippets, but Box Notes doesn't allow them to select font and there's no style for fixed-width.
The issue is the same as the one described in this forum post: https://community.box.com/t5/Web-App-Forum/Boxnote-fixed-width-font/td-p/31194

Feature requests
I wish Box notes were more like DropBox Paper. Top things I like:
- The editor is essentially a live Markdown editor so nearly all formatting doesn’t require leaving the keyboard.
- Full support for Markdown export.
- Comments can be attached to each paragraph - so much better than the one thread per Box note.
- Links are properly clickable without the silly ‘link bubble’
- Auto-generated ToC

Convert BoxNote to PDF, DOCX, etc...
BoxNotes would be much more useful if there was an ability to able to generate a PDF or other document format that can be stored in a more traditional method in Box. Some customer that work in the regulated space can't use BoxNotes for various reasons. But, in many cases there is an issue with the fact that BoxNotes does not follow the same retention capabilities we have in Governance. Also, Keysafe does not support BoxNotes, so it may be a workaround if BoxNotes were archivable.
The initial idea would be to support PDF generation, but i can also see…

Add header and title to Box Note table feature
The customer would like to be able to fix certain parts of Box Notes to be visible at all times.
e.g header(row, column etc) of tables ,the title of sectionAs you fill in Box Notes, the page scrolls down naturally and then parts of Box Notes above become invisible whether they are a "header" or a "title" of table.
The customer wants these to be visible at all times even if you scroll down.An example would be like the "subject" part at the top of an email in Outlook, which is something that is always visible regardless of…

Box Notes Export or Download to Common Formats
It would be great if Box Notes supported a simple way to Download/Export into non-Box format like plain text, html, markdown, rtf, or Word. I am hesitant to leverage Box Notes until this feature is present.

Get documents into and out of Box Notes from other formats
My organization likes Box Notes for their online-collaboration support. But when we have existing documents, we can't get them into a Box Note. And if we want to get them out, we can't do that either.
Add import and export support to Box Notes. I'd be delighted with Markdown, but my organization can work with just about any open format. Or publish your own proprietary format. XML or JSON, we don't care! Just make it possible to get documents into and out of Box Notes.

Navigation of Box Notes
We absolutely love using the Boxnotes in many ways - including as an index for projects that have for example, many presentations that are similar but different. We insert a preview and check through and check through versions to find slides we want. Some of our Box Notes therefore get very big and it would be great if there was the functionality to insert contents ad the top, or to collapse and expand based on the text style. We don't want much extra functionality - simplicity is the name of the game with Box Note.

Box Note Table Functions
We want to be able to use equations/functions in Box Notes Tables similar to Excel or Google Sheets functionality. For example, typing AVERAGE = (B2:B4) into cell B5 would find the average of cells B2 through B4.
This would be a very helpful update.

Box Notes inbox
I use Boxnote all day long for meeting notes, agenda, drafting documents asynchronously, etc. It's great. However, I would love to see a more streamlined inbox format so I can find relevant boxnotes more easily. I can only see 5 boxnotes listed before I have to start scrolling down the page because there are three lines of text: the file name, when it was updated, and what folder it's in. All I need is the name. If the other lines and the extra blank space were to be removed, I'd be able to see many more listed. I'd like to…

We want a function to divide files created with Box Notes by category (tag).
[Background]
Box Notes is harder to use than OneNote.
The reason is that it is difficult to find files from INBOX because files cannot be divided by categories (tags, folders, etc.).5 votes -
Add a reminder function to box notes
Add the ability to set a reminder either push through the app or an email. For example I keep a to do list in notes or there are reports I need to update weekly. If I had a reminder then I could go back to the note and complete whatever I needed.

Allow us to change sharing settings on multiple "image" files at once!
It's a HUGE pain in Box. You put 20 or 30 images into a Box note, and you want to share that note with someone at your company, but outside the team that has access to that folder. You must MANUALLY click every single image, open sharing settings, change to "View to anyone at my company".
If Box could just make it so that if we change the sharing settings on the folder containing the images, all the images would have the same sharing settings, OR allow a multiselect of images to change sharing settings for all images at once,…

I want to add a boxnote to a collection
Let me add a box note into one or more Collections. Seems I currently can only "star" them to put them in my Favourites.
Other files in box show the Collections management options, but box notes do not.

Allowing someone to edit a box note should mean they can view images
We're often sharing box notes across teams that are used to take review notes, including lots of screencaps. But using a share link that gives someone in my company the ability to edit a box note does NOT give them the authority to view the images in the box note. Which makes the share link all but useless, because we still need to give all of them explicit access to the folder. And it makes no sense, because they can delete images that other people have added, even though they aren't allowed to view the image!

To be able to upload different types of files
To be able to upload different file types in Box Notes such as pdf, word, excel, etc. Currently we can only upload images.

The ability to zoom in on BoxNotes from mobile
When small picture attached in the BoxNotes, user is often not able to see the detail as zoom-in is not supported. I need to go back to my laptop every time and that is inconvenient.

change font style
It would be great if we could have more text customization options. Especially changing fonts. Font style can alter your workflow, it's really important for me, and i think that for others as well.
