In the collaboration report, there are invited date and accepted date, but there is no expiration date. Would it be possible to add expiration date in the collaboration report?
Because it is too tough to confirm the expiration date one by one on the collaboration list page or using API, I demand the way to confirm enitre expiration date easily.30 votes
We would like to be able to run User Activity Report through the API.
Users, groups and affected folders/files can be selected as a filter to export/run this report against. But today, keyboard typings and mouse clicks are required to select each filtering, which would be unrealistic to specify tens or hundreds of users, groups, folders and/or files.
Thus, We would need API to utilize/filter User Activity Report at scale.11 votes
Don't point users to the EID's Primary Admin when users try to access a disabled app. This is problematic for our larger customers as it prompts the user to reach out to an email address that may not be monitored or inundates the admin with what should be HelpDesk tickets.14 votes

Exporting Access Stats report some times take long time to get generated, especially many reports are requested at the same time. We would like the Access Stats export be generated faster at scale.5 votes
In the activity report, exporting Collaboration Approval gives the following output:
Invite external users to the "folder" of your company tenant.
Only the folders invited to "Processed Items" are displayed.
Invite external users to the "file" of your company tenant
The folder path is displayed in "Processing item", but the file name and file ID of the invitation file are not displayed.
This specification confuses the user and is not suitable for following the path to the invite folder.
Please unify "Folder path", "Folder/file name" and "Folder/file ID" as output results.6 votes
As of today, Shared link expiry notification is only sent to the owner of the folder, can we extend this notification to the creator of the shared link as well.
Reason being owner of the folder might not always be the creator of the shared link, it can be anyone from co-owner, editor etc.
This will help us limit out the chance of users missing out on the notification.3 votes
I really need the ability to run a report that demonstrates that my files have been permanently deleted.
Given requirements in the various data privacy laws across the world, our company may be required to delete data or files at any time, and provide proof of deletion. However, once something is deleted from our Box account, it sits in Trash for 30 days before being permanently purged. (And, if I understand correctly, the data may be recoverable for 14 days after that?)3 votes
It would be nice to have options rather than just export as is. Similar to User Activity, the ability to at a minimum choose a start and end date would be extremely helpful. Currently, our report is not working. Having worked with Box support, they believe it is due to the size of the export. If this is the case, being able to limit the report timeframe, will help with the size. Thank you.6 votes
Currently, Admin is able to retrieve the log of all managed users from admin console > Report. However customer would like to make it possible for only specific administrators to retrieve report information for specific users due to GDPR. Therefor customer wants only local admin in EU to be able to get the logs of users in that country.2 votes
Request for Box to create pre-defined reports. Currently, we have to input criteria everytime, reallocate the parameters and reset it up again. Please change "Export Users" report to the format of the UTF8 csv file with BOM
The format of the "Export Users" report has been changed to csv.
Therefore, when you import it into Excel as it is, the characters will be garbled.
The workaround now:
We change it to csv file with UTF8 BOM in a text editor now before importing it into Excel.
However, this workaround would required few extra steps before importing it into Excel.2 votes
Any chance that we can have some flexibility in the "Collaborator Permission Levels." Can we develop a tool to edit these levels, like check which function the user can have. Having set levels with no flexibility is difficult because every user needs different access.93 votes

Once the external user sends invites to a X company Box user, there is almost no controls on the shared folder by X company there is no “Accept/Reject” stage by default, X company Box user will automatically have the external shared folder or file in his Box space even without awareness. Make the default invitee permission configurable at the instance level.1 vote
