  1. Using public Beta for Folder Insights with Editor permissions

    Most users who need Folder Insights are editors.
    Also, invitations are often restricted for security reasons.
    I would like to see Folder Insights and reports downloadable even for invite-restricted editors.

  2. We want to change the owner of a file in the trash

    There is some content that we do not want to completely erase, but we would like to change the owner due to capacity issues.
    Therefore, we would like to change the owner of the files in the Recycle Bin.

  3. Limit the amount of data a user can delete

    There have been repeated incidents where users accidentally delete large amounts of data from Box Drive. Each time, administrators are required to restore the data.
    However, administrators cannot restore the data until the deletion process is fully completed, and even then, the restoration takes as much time as the deletion, which disrupts business operations.

    We would like to set an upper limit on the amount of data that users (other than Box administrators and co-administrators) can delete at one time, in order to prevent users from accidentally deleting large amounts of data.

    Box Driveでユーザーが誤って大量のデータを削除してしまう事件が繰り返し発生しています。そのたびに管理者がデータを復元する必要があります。しかし、管理者は削除処理が完全に終了するまでデータを復元することができず、さらに復元にも削除と同じくらいの時間がかかるため、業務の妨げとなっています。

    ユーザー(Box管理者および共同管理者以外)が一度に削除できるデータ容量の上限を設定することで、ユーザーが誤って大量のデータを削除してしまうことを防ぎたいと考えています。

  4. Request for a function that can determine whether an email address is registered in the Suppression List

    If a welcome message is sent before the mailbox creation is complete, it will be added to the Suppression List as an invalid email address.
    However, I don't know which email address was added to the suppression list.
    Also, in the management of the suppression list, even if you delete it, it will come out again.
    I would like to request a function that allows you to see the email address registered in the Suppression List.

  5. Log in as “AutomationUser” from the new UI Content Manager

    Content: Currently, it is possible to log in as a proxy via the Content Manager of the old UI, but it is not possible to log in as a proxy on the new UI.
    If the user is a managed user, you can log in as a proxy from the "Users and Groups" screen, but since AutomationUser is not displayed on the "Users and Groups" screen, you will need to log in as a proxy from Content Manager.
    Since not being able to log in as an AutomationUser has a large impact on our business, we would like this functionality…

  6. Matching display with Box Notes shared link settings

    If the Admin Console [Shared Link Permissions] is set to type "File: Can view and download" and type "Box Notes: Can view and edit",
    Depending on where you create a Box Notes shared link, the settings and permissions displayed do not match.This is the current specification.

    Created a shared link from a file list: The permission "View only" is displayed because the type is "File", but it can be edited.
    Creating a shared link from the Box Notes share button: The "Can edit" permission is displayed to refer to the type "Box Notes".

  7. In the Enterprise settings for device protection, add the global IP address used during client connection to the device trust requirements.

    I would like to add the global IP address that the client connects to as a target in the device trust requirements of the policies that can be set in the Enterprise settings for device protection. Currently, it is possible to apply for allowed IP addresses individually on a tenant basis, but it is not feasible to respond appropriately each time. By making it possible to set this as an item in this function, it will be possible to respond quickly and control the target in a limited manner, thereby improving operational management convenience and enhancing security. Please consider this.

  8. Way to close any open editing sessions.

    It would be beneficial to have a way to close any open editing sessions.

    We have run into this issue multiple times where sessions are stuck open, and folks are unable to remove or edit documents, do to this issue.

  9. We want group administrators to edit tracking codes

    Currently, tracking code information can only be accessed by Admins and Co-Admins with permission.
    We wish it was possible to give group admins the ability to edit tracking codes.
    Alternatively, We would like it to be possible to be a co-admin while being a group admin.

  10. MFA timeout settings for external collaborators

    The following features currently only have settings that can be applied to managed users:
    However, in order to strengthen security, we believe that limiting the scope of application to managed users is insufficient.
    Please apply this setting to external collaborators as well (especially those with free accounts).

    For example, if the requirements are not met, the collaboration status will be "pending."

  11. We want to enable a custom app partially by specifying users/groups

    A feature has been released for integrated apps that allows you to partially enable them by specifying groups or users, but we would like a similar feature for custom apps.

  12. disable public links globally with exceptions

    We would like to disable public link sharing for all users, but enable a single folder public link sharing available where staff can put files that can be shared publicly. We don't want staff to accidentally share public links from other locations in Box, only from a single folder designated for public links. Otherwise, we need to move public link files to another provider, such as Google Drive.

  13. More Error Information - Specified Logins are deactivated or invalid

    I am adding a user to Box Relay or a similar app where I need to add a user. I get an Error that says "Specified login(s) are deactivated or otherwise invalid. Please remove them from the list before saving."

    Now I have to somehow know what user was deactivated???? If there is an error, tell me what user is having the issue or do not give me the error. When the user is removed, it will go away.

    Very frustrating to have to go through a list of random users to add a user.

  15. Enterprise Advanced plan accounts cannot purchase seats directly in-app

    After recently upgrading to Enterprise Advanced we can no longer add seat licenses as we previously could. It is REALLY frustrating to do a contract ammendment each time we need to add a batch of users to a growing organization.

  16. I would like to see an option to not send provisioning emails

    You are using Okta's SCIM to automatically create an account for Box.
    The process of creating a Box account is completed immediately, and a welcome message is sent to the email address of the user who created it.
    However, it takes about an hour to create an M365 account, and you won't be able to receive emails until you finish creating your M365 account.

    If a welcome message is sent before the mailbox creation is complete, it will be added to the Suppression List as an invalid email address.

  17. Request for the ability to remove from the Suppression List via API

  18. View suppression list

    I should be able to view emails on my suppression list. I appreciate the ability to remove addresses from it myself, but not being able to see which email addresses you are blocking creates situations wherein I do not know someone isn't getting mail until after they have missed at least one message.

  19. Expired Shared Link lookup for Admins

    Problem: Admins often need to do investigation of files stored in Box and all they have to go off of is the file/folder's shared link.

    Many times, users are reaching out to Technical Support because a Shared Link is Expired.

    Key Features:
    -Provide ability to enter an Expired shared link (standard or vanity URL)
    -Information returned after searching:
    -File/folder name
    -File/folder owner
    -File/folder location (Owner -> Folder hierarchy)
    -Status (whether the file/folder has been deleted or not)
    -Admin-level 'delete' (ability for the admin to delete the file on the spot)

  20. Increase the deletion limit on the suppression list, which is currently capped at 10 email addresses per day

    Currently, the maximum number of email addresses allowed on deleting the suppression list is limited to 10 per day. However, for large-scale organizations with tens of thousands of employees, the number of addresses that need to be suppressed is much higher, and 10 per day is insufficient. We would like this limit to be increased.
