on any desktop moving a file is instant
on an iphone moving a photo to an album is instant
therefore we expect instant effect of moving operation
in box that is not the case : move takes considerable time
for example I tried to move 200GB on a box drive where all items were online only, first the window appeared trying to enumerate the files, which kept climbing, as if it was doing the move one file at a time
then, as nothing was happening i stopped the operation
to test if move was a copy+delete like on dropbox i performed the same move operation on the website. it was instant
therefore the box drive and its mobile equivalent are handling move operation the wrong way
so this needs to be fixed to bring box drive on parity with native filesystem behavior and onedrive
