MAC OS Spotlight search for Box Drive
Ability to search for Box files from the Mac OS Spotlight Search feature. Allow all files/folders I have access to in Box/Drive to surface in the search functionality on my Mac desktop.

Integration with native Mac search works seamlessly with OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox and ofcourse iCloud. It used to work in box before a year. This is a big "f.. you" to the customer. Disappointed for not providing a good reason excep this: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695774-Mac-Specific-Known-Issues-for-Box-Drive

Please make it possible for macOS spotlight search to at lease index and search the box files that are already downloaded "for offline use". This would be a huge improvement as box search is not a full feature search tool on mac.

This remains a problem that is integral to working with files of any kind. For instance, if one is using an application and chooses to open an document, it is common to find the document using the search field in the Open dialog. That will not find any file on the Box drive even if the whole file is on the computer (i.e. "available for offline use.")
This defect prevents Box Drive from replacing Box Sync, which did allow synced files to be found.

probably an idea better suited for Apple. Box has no control over spotlight results.
