Currently as you navigate Box Drive and hit a new folder there can be a noticeable delay before the content listing of the folder is displayed and for that time (can be several seconds or more) the impression is left that the directory is empty. The user is left trying to determine if they need to wait or if there are actually no files or folders within the folder.

An improvement would to either maintain a local cache of the folder/file hierarchy and then download the actual file when it's selected for open. Or a predictive recursive tree query when a user begins navigating down a path and prefetch a few directories below the current.

I have limited exposure to OneDrive but it does not seem to have the same delay when navigating a folder hierarchy.
This continues be a grievance our end users have with Box. Many of our line of business software programs don't work as well with the launch from Box Web app approach.
