Configure ways to sign a document. Example: Disable typed signature
Give admins or senders ability to disable sender from typing signature
Amy Hudson - it is for a customer who is a CPA and he said that for what they do it can be an issue/requirement that for e signatures to be accepted it needs to be drawn not typed
Denise DeLisser - I also have a customer (Shriners). They require drawn signatures for some of their consent forms and would love if we could enforce/require a specific signature type.

In Box Sign, when signing a document, users have the option to type their signature (see attached image). However, this typed signature is not always recognized or accepted. I would like to suggest adding a setting that allows the creater to disable the "type" signature option if needed.

When signing in Box Sign, users currently have three options: typing a signature, drawing a signature, or uploading an image.
We request a feature that allows administrators to restrict the signature options available to managed users via settings in the Admin Console. Especially, we would like the ability to disable the image upload option. This functionality is crucial to prevent unauthorized users from using company or title stamp images.

Having signers use a different persons name (Signature Name Change) when signing documents is an issue. Admins should either have the option to disable Type/Draw. DocuSign does not have this issue and if you are going to present your product as an alternative/replacement to DocuSign, this is an issue that needs to be addressed ASAP. Imagine a signer use the CEO's name on a contract!

Our organization would like to be able to set the specific type of how the Box sign should be provided (e.g. draw over types). In our research departments, we have some specific requirements where we need a drawn signature and not a type in. Therefore, having the ability to default which sign option would be a great enhancement.

When sending a document for signature via Box Sign, signees currently have the option to either type or draw their signature. As the document generator, we should have the ability to specify which method the signee must use. Since the typed signature does not resemble a real handwritten signature, there should be an option to require only the "draw" function for obtaining a more authentic signature. Similarly, if ease of access is a priority, we should also have the ability to require only the "type" function to streamline the signing process.

I work with folks in Creative Fields and they would like to have drawn signatures only on Box Sign to collect autographs from clients to then distribute to their partners for branding purposes.
They would use the ability to control in the admin console and could benefit from this feature.

We have experiences of people uploading images of driving licenses etc instead of actually signing their esign documents. This is not sufficient for our business, we require an actual signature but we are reliably informed that it is NOT possible to turn off the 'upload' option.... We see this as a very important element.

There's currently four ways to sign a document;
1. apply a saved signature,
2. manually draw your signature,
3. type your signature,
4. upload an image of your signature
https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404086971027-Signing-a-documentHowever, our organization restricts "image signature" and that becomes a blocker to implement Box Sign in our circumstance. Would like to have the ability to switch them on-off from Admin console

Ability to turn off options for signing so you can specify the signature type.
Ex: Allow only drawn or uploaded signatures and turn off typed signatures.
