Additional levels of Admin Console permissions based on functional role
Additional levels of permissions based on your functional role:
Currently Co-Admin's default permissions grants them access to Content Manager, Platform and Classification while in most cases this is NOT required and already way too high. Permissions need to be more granular configured for each role's requirement.
For bigger corporations, it is necessary to divide permissions into various new tiers of access. At present, it is impossible to distinguish between permissions, and this configuration offers a uniform access solution to various departments within the company, despite them all currently sharing identical permissions.
Members of a Legal Team should be restricted from accessing Retention policies and should not have the capability to navigate to the Content Manager's File Request or delete any requests. At present, we are required to grant identical permissions to various teams, which allows them to view and alter each other’s policies.(??)
Requirement for new levels of permissions is to expand the number of tick-boxes within each feature:
e.g. Multiple tick-boxes on Governance: view access to see retention, edit access for retention, reporting Retention. view access for Legal Hold, edit access for Legal Hold, reporting for Legal Hold ...
etc,etc,etc
Tick-box to access Platform. (why does everyone needs access to this by default?)
Tick-boxes to what people require and not on what Box makes it a default. (sorry Box :-) )
