Bulk delete File version History
There are several workarounds to achieve this in the current product, so we will not prioritize this feature in our roadmap.

Single deletes are available, but when I need to delete thousands of old versions to clear space, it seems unreasonable to do that one at a time. What are the workarounds?

I also have this problem and don't see a clear workaround to this - I would love to hear what these workaround are!

When using Box Edit and continuously saving after every significant edit of the file, the number of versions quickly build up, and take up a lot of space. To delete old versions, I seem to have to do that one by one. It would be much more useful to be able to delete several old versions in one go. Maybe the possibility to do something like "Delete versions 1-42" as one action.
Thanks

I have created 79 versions of my file in 2 hour long editing sessions. I definitely don't need all of these versions, deleting them singly in the versions history is very slow as the UI renders each version when I click on the burger menu to select delete.
A cynic would think you are trying to max out the storage a single file will use.
And yes, you haven't answered what the multiple workarounds are. I can't find anything on the web,

So, if workarounds exist, can you please provide how these Work?
As a user I have a file with about 180 versions, whereas I would prefer to delete at least 150 of it.
This does not work to me by individually chhosing a version and then delete it.
