Setting to adjust Box Edit startup launch when MSI is installed
User would like to a way to prevent Box Edit and Box Local Comm Service from running upon startup. They have the MSI installed and all users in their environment do not utilize Box Edit. User would like a way to prevent Box Edit/Local Comm Service from launching for those users who do not utilize Box Edit.
It still doesn't make sense to have to have the process running for all users when not everyone would be using the application. This would be applicable to both a virtual and non virtual environment since the same settings would apply to computers for Coworkers.
The overall issue is that the configuration with how Box Edit works is not an optimal configuration because you are using resources on a server for a process that not all Coworkers utilize.
This will result in fewer Coworkers per server because the process is consuming resources which are not needed. This can also impact logon and logoff since that process has to terminate and start correctly for the Coworker.
