Ability to search/surface duplicate content
It would be beneficial to be able to show all duplicate content where files are identical.

Duplicate files and folders have a way of appearing, and it is really hard to tell which one is the active file. Especially when several come up in the Spotlight search. I have tens of GB of this stuff that I'd like to get rid of with confidence.

Many of the other cloud services have added this feature as well as the ability to transfer between other cloud services (GoogleDrive, One, Drive, iCloud, Verizon Cloud, etc).
What's the holdup or is it better just to switch to one of those providers? -

In the context of energy saving, finding and deleting duplicate files might help a lot.

Hi, I see the ability to find/see duplicate content was requested back in 2017. This is a feature that would help users/customers find inefficient duplicate files that are taking up valuable resources when they need not if Box provided an appropriate deduplicate functionality. Is this on the roadmap?

I really hope this idea to search for duplicate content is implemented very soon. I can probably save 15 GB of space that way!
(Also, didn't mean to flag the admin content - I click on it to see what the whole thing said, not realizing it would flag it . Sorry about that!
