Box Drive Bandwidth Throttling
Requesting the ability to set an administrative bandwidth limit for Box Drive (with user exceptions).

I am currently on a Box trial and am seeing how well this fits for my company. I was shocked to see this is such an old request, and even more shocked that it seems to be "Not Planned" after years...This might not work for me.

This is a very basic feature, available in most network-hugging applications.

Hi, with COVID-19 and remote office, I can't afford BOXDrive taking all my bandwidth.
This prevents me to have Zoom calls or even browse smoothly the internet.(my ADSL = 0.9 M upload ; 11Mbps download)

This would be extremely helpful for our small business environment. We work dynamically Box for all types of files - .pptx, .ai, .ps, .docx - and often run into issues where Box ties up large amounts of bandwidth. We've throttled from the firewall side, but it would be helpful to have that control on the Sync/Drive side.

When I am on a slow connection, Box Drive is very bandwidth greedy, often making any other internet connections almost unusable.
