We will not be supporting additional EMM features for Android Device Admin; moving forward, we are supporting EMM feature requests on Android Enterprise.
APK/Device Admin was announced as deprecated in 2017, and deprecated in last year’s update (P), and this year’s Android update (Q) no longer supports APK/Device Admin at all. From Google: “Starting with Android 9 (API level 28), some admin policies will be marked as deprecated when invoked by a device admin. We recommend you start to prepare now for this change.
