Revert to former UX for selecting files/folders (no more check boxes)
In order to select multiple files or folders in the Box Web App you now have to use the checkboxes which are only visible when you hover over the file/folder all the way to the right.
Previously, you could select multiple files and folders by clicking on the file or folder icon on the far left, and didn’t have to bother with checkboxes. The suggestion is to revert to the former UX for selecting files/folders

already commented this in another but please do not bring back double clicking. double clicking is tedious for opening files and the switch from single click everywhere else on the web like gmail, hubspot to double click on box was jarring.

The previous UI for Gird View was more information rich, and a single click click allowed for additional information without needing to open the file. Allow for reverting to this UI.

I can no longer select multiple files at the same time. I used to be able to hold down the Shift key and select multiple files. Now I cannot do this. I need to select multiple files to download or to move into a new folder sometimes and now I have to move or download the files individually. This is incredibly tedious and takes a bunch of time.
Is there a trick to selecting multiple files at once?
