Be able to Block specific filetypes from being uploaded to Box
Allow for an organization-wide policy to block specific filetypes from being uploaded to Box, or at least prevent them from being uploaded/moved to specific folders with specific classifications.

This seems like a relatively easy implementation and low-hanging ask for preventing unwanted filetype uploads via policy in combination with Box Shield and content inspection. Any idea why this is "not planned" and on the road map?

They have that older feature under governance, content security to implement that kind of policy to block certain filetype. It is fairly basic and easy to spoof. They will be uploaded, but blocked.
