Allow using 2FA for free accounts
Hello,
It is very regrettable that BOX doesn't provide the possibility to set up 2FA security connection for theirs free account users! To have this level of security connection to the BOX account doesn't mean to profit extra services, quality, support, etc., but simply protect the BOX account and safe private data.
That's should be nowadays including in base services, that's not an extra!
To compromise the security of free BOX account users by blocking to use a worldly recommended 2FA security system, is simply contemptuous and dangerous.
Can BOX revise this issue?

This is a reason for ignoring box as a service. I will not commit to a company that limits the free user experience in such a way. It shows they are unprofessional by compromising all those free user's data without 2fa. In reality what they say is just try it out but don't store anything in there cause we don't guarantee it's safety. As an IT Professional I will simply skip this. There are so many other option's out there.
It would be so much simpler and more professional for them if they allowed it. People would store their files get used to the system and eventually run out of space or actually like the product and upgrade.
Horendous approach Box. -

100% agree. UPVOTE the comment above! 2FA should be default on ALL accounts.
As an online storage company, data security should be a top priority, and I believe that making 2FA accessible to all users, regardless of their subscription level, would significantly enhance the security of your service.
Two-factor authentication is a fundamental security measure that provides an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access. By limiting this feature to paid users, it inadvertently creates a disparity in security levels among your user base. This could potentially expose free users to higher risks of data breaches and unauthorized access, which could ultimately affect the overall trust in your platform.
Moreover, implementing 2FA for all users aligns with industry best practices and demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding user data. It can also serve as a strong differentiator in a competitive market where data security is increasingly becoming a priority for consumers.
I urge you to consider making two-factor authentication a default feature for all users. This move would not only enhance security but also show your dedication to protecting all users' data equally.
Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to seeing continued improvements in your platform's security features.
