If there is only one app which can open a file, let the “open” button call that app.
Having to click the “open” button to hit the “open” button is infuriating. Perhaps, consider just opening the file when I click on it from the list and skipping this entire step all together? Skipping this page would be especially helpful when the preview does not reflect the current state of the document.
