box drive sync progress
When syncing large amounts of data or many items into Box, I don't have a number of items remaining unless I try to log out of Box drive while it is uploading. Could we take that information and put it into the Box Drive icon like it was displayed in Box Sync?
This feature was delivered in Box Drive v2.20!
Users can easily view upload and download progress in the new Transfers UI (accessible via the system tray on Windows or menu bar on Mac).

I edit large files, such as videos. It would be highly beneficial to see how much the data uploading/downloading will still take. I can't believe this feature doesn't exist yet in Box.

This needs to be done. As a workaround, I have used the logout dialog to see "Open" "Uploading", and "Error" counts, but this should be much more visible in the main interface.

This is definitely a vital feature. I work with large files, 2 - 4 GB in size, and I like to know how soon they will truly be uploaded before I can share them or shutdown my computer.

Working from home and managing a creative team Box Drive has really kept us going - however - more and more I'm telling employees to work on projects and they aren't done transferring yet. Sometimes the icons dont show in finder and there is no way to check progress of synching. Dropbox has no problem providing icons and progress checking tools. Box needs to get this implemented before users start jumping ship. If it were up to me I'd have jumped months ago.

I'm a video editor and I deal with massive files being share between teammates. I must sync files to my drive to access them so it would enable more productivity my myself and my team to have an estimate of the time remaining before the objects are syncing.

My company deals with individual files that are relatively large. A live list of the files being synced with a progress bar would be perfect.

Nudge. This should be a standard feature especially now with everyone working from home. This is necessary to check upload status and set proper customer expectations.

I went from Box Sync to box drive recently, but this is one sync feature I miss terribly - I could at least see the sync status previously (# files, approx time etc) but now I am blind to what it is doing

This is a no-brainer feature for BOX Drive. All BOX's competitors have had this feature from day one being able to visually see what files are syncing and uploading so you can see a visual cue for what's remaining.

This may address user reported issues of files/folder not appearing for another user in Box Drive after saving/creating.

I can't believe this isn't current functionality. OneDrive and Dropbox both supply this in their task-manager pop-up program... and yet when you open the BOX Drive task-manager application that covers 1/4 of your desktop screen, it's only function is search...
Why wouldn't you be able to display all the files currently syncing (uploading/downloading) so the user can easily understand what the program is doing.

Our CTO is a major user of Box Drive, to the point where he is stressing the product. Sometimes he reports an issue and a troubleshooting step is for him to log out and login again, clearing his cache. He works in myriad folders Marked For Offline and wants to know if we can reassure him that anything he's saved has synced up to Box so when he logs out he has zero risk of losing anything that got stuck syncing.
We cannot give him this reassurance. The current answer is for him to eyeball the status icon on anything he has touched with is completely not feasible.

Google Drive has a progress bar when you're syncing files from your computer to your drive, Box could use one. Box, in my opinion, is way superior to Drive but a progress bar could help a whole lot.
