Option to delete the folder alongside Permanently delete content policy
We auto-delete completed projects after 30 days and would like to automate this process with retention policies.
Currently, a Permanently delete content policy only deletes the content within a folder, however, we need the folder itself deleted because it contains the confidential name of the project.
This is currently not on the roadmap as we have not heard this request from many other customers. We will consider it in the future if there is increased customer demand.

For retention policies that automatically purge content, folder pollution may present a problem to organizations that manage large volumes of work.
Example: Once clients are turned inactive, they are moved from an Indefinite folder to a 6 year retention folder. After 6 years, the contents of the folders are deleted; however, the folders remain within the "Closed Clients" folder, resulting in folder pollution. Additionally, it is possible that the names or descriptions of the folders could contain sensitive information and could be a violation of internal or regulatory requirements.
Currently, users can manually delete these orphaned folders or a script could be run periodically that deletes such folders if no files reside within them.
