Ability to create an index of a folder structure
1) A way to create an index of a folder structure to make it easier for outside collaborators to get an idea of whats down the folder tree. We’re looking for some sort of index (like a table of contents) in an orderly fashion for a particular set of folders. I ran a files and folders report but as just an excel sheet it was relatively useless as a table of contents
2) A way to schedule a report to run daily or weekly

Add an option to index folders and files with a number system. Ex//
1.0 Folder A
1.1 File A1
1.2 File A2
1.3 File A3
2.0 Folder B
2.1 File B1
2.2 File B2
2.2.1 Subfile B2.1
3.0 Folder C
This way you can direct someone to s specific folder or file number, rather than having to share a link. -

This is possible as an admin, it needs to be possible as a general user.

For our Windows file shares, we use an inexpensive tool (TreeSize Pro) that lets us export all or part of a directory tree to Excel, which then lets us expand or collapse the tree to better see how people are organizing and categorizing their content. It also produces tons of stats on numbers of files, file types, sizes, age, etc. for each level of the directory. I wish there were similar functionality with Box so that we can see how the platform is being used, and to help improve the structure, improve naming conventions, and improve search. I agree that the file-by-file report is pretty useless. I hadn't thought of using this for a user index (if security trimmed), but that's a great use case, too.
