During this time (2022/02/28, Monday, 13:00), I received a virus detection notification email.
When I checked the contents, the upload date by virus detection notification email is 2020/06/16 9:36:17 JST,
Neither the target file was found in the path of the email presentation.

I contacted MKI Box Support Desk.
We received the following answers.

"The virus scan seems to be rescanned accordingly based on the activity of the file, not only at the time of upload.
The frequency of scans is determined by the number of file activity.
It can be difficult to explain the consistency of when this notification arrives.
Please note that due to security specifications, no details have been released on this."

There are no particular questions about the move to rescan.
The detection of a virus in an incorrect path is not always correct,
It can be read that consistency is not good, rather than difficult to explain.
In addition, virus detection, if it is not notified in a timely manner, the infection will spread, and it is easy to become a big problem.
If there is a logic problem with virus detection, it seems better to fix the logic,
It's confusing if you get notifications that don't always fit the actual one, so it would be helpful if you could consider it.

この間（2022/02/28、月、13:00）、ウィルス検出通知メールが届きました。
内容を確認したところ、ウィルス検知通知メールでのアップロード日は2020/06/16 9:36:17 JSTであり、
対象ファイルもメール提示のパスでも見当たりませんでした。

MKI Box サポートデスクへ問い合わせをいたしましたが、
下記のような回答を頂きました。

「ウイルススキャンは、アップロード時に限らず、ファイルのアクティビティに基づき適宜再スキャンが実行されるようです。
スキャンの頻度はファイルのアクティビティの回数によって決定されるため、
どの時点でこの通知が届くかの整合性の説明が難しい場合がございます。
なお、このことに関してはセキュリティの仕様のため、詳細が公開されておりません。」

再スキャン実施するという動きに関しては特に不明点がございませんが、
正しくないパスでウイルス検知されたことはつじつまが合わなくて、
整合性の説明が難しいというより、整合性がよくないと読み取れます。
又、ウィルス検知ですが、タイムリーに通知されないと感染が拡大ことに繋がり、大きな問題になりやすいです。
ウィルス検知はロジック的に問題がある場合、ロジックを修正したほうよさそうですが、
いつも実際と合わない通知が来られると混乱してしまうので、ぜひご検討いただければ助かります。
