    When sending an approval task in Relay to a user that does not have folder permissions, Relay would invite that user as collaborator, but if a task is sent to a group, automatic invite does not work. It is crucial to enable to automatically add permissions to a group when sending approval task in Relay

  3. Expose workflow APIs to track progress of individual workflows

    Today when querying for active workflows, the Box workflow API returns only workflow templates and not the actual workflow instances that each user initiates. As a relay user initiating a workflow based on a manual start trigger at the same time as other users I want to be able to query the workflow API to obtain information about a specific workflow instance, this feature will allow a user to get real time information on the status of each active workflow and not just the template. Without the ability to track the status of workflows in a granular fashion multi-step workflows…

    I would like to have "Send Email" as an action in Box Relay.
    The use case I would like is when I receive a file from file request, I would like to send a thank you email to the uploader (the email address that they input in metadata).

  5. Relay: Involve external Users to a manual workflow as "not-owner" of the folder/file

    Hi,

    i discribe a situation:
    The Admin is the owner of all folders/files, directors has co-owner-rights and all employees are editors. It is similarly discribed in "Folder Structure Best Practices" under "Business Unit Drive"
    Now we invite some external users... not only the owner can invite them.
    Then we create some relays for specific folder, especially some manual ones, assign a task and set the Assignee to "Specify at startup"...not only the owner can do this.
    Last but not least we start the manual workflow and choose as Assignee an external user... but wait...ONLY the owner of the folder (1…

  6. Ability to customize the notification emails sent from Relay

    We would like to incorporate this into Relay as a review and tracing task by forcing notifications to specific people or groups.

    It is difficult to do the above with the current e-mails being sent.
    It can't be reached with a single click because there is no file name or link to the trigger folder in the email only.
    Therefore, we would like to see the following improvements.

    ・Most of the mail body is occupied by images, making it difficult to read fixed messages.

  7. Folder setting: enable/disable file request

    Feature that allow owner/co-owner of folders to enable or disable file request in the folder setting.

    Currently, users can generate file request link in any folders with editor permissions. Some enterprise want to control (disable) usage of file request at the top-level folders depending on intended use.
    e.g. disable file request link in [internal-only] folder.

    Please add the option "New version or Updated" when creating a workflow for a "file event". The new upload option doesn't work if we're simply making an update/edit to an existing document.

    When allocating approval tasks in Box Relay, users are able to uncheck the "Invite the person in charge as a viewer" function.
    In addition, if "Invite users as viewers" is enabled, and the members in charge have been granted permission as members of a group, which prevent them from being invited to the file as viewers.

  12. Box Relay Trigger "Update File"

    Currently there is no "file update" in the Box Relay trigger.
    If you upload a file with the same name in Box, it will be saved as a new version of the existing file instead of a new upload.
    There is currently no trigger to trigger in such a case, so it would be nice to have a "update file" trigger.

    現在BoxRelayのトリガーには、「ファイルの更新」がありません。
    Boxにて同じ名前のファイルをアップロードすると、新規アップロードではなく既存のファイルの新しいバージョンとして保存されます。
    そのような場合に発動するトリガーが現在ないので、「ファイルの更新」トリガーがあれば嬉しいです。

  20. Box Relay's 'New Upload' trigger only fires with the first version of the file.

    1. Add "Box Script" to your drop down list of systems on this page.
    2. Modify Script's 'New Upload' Relay Trigger so it applies to updated copies of a file to that same folder. aka V2, V3, etc. Currenty 'New Upload' only fires on the first time a file with that name is uploaded.
