ITAR Support for Box Notes
Currently, if we need to be ITAR compliant, we are unable to utilize Box Notes. I realize this would require a backend modification, but it would be great if we could utilize Box Notes and remain ITAR/EAR Compliant.

Improve Box notes sharing and Home page
Box @ IBM is easily my most used and least liked product at work. The link sharing is a horrible experience. Everyone in the company disses Box's link protection. Enabling Link Expiration by default on the shared links is the worst idea and the product manager that approved this feature should dogfood features before subjecting customers to its horrid UX. I can't easily drag drop files like in Google Drive, the home page I land is useful in 0.01% of the cases. Usually I easily spend upwards of 5 minutes just looking for files. I have taken to adding all…

Need a better way to track locations of Box Notes
Bread crumbs are very useful on BOX documents and folders to explore relevant related documents, but they don’t exist on the page of Box Notes. You see them in the index on the left, but that doesn’t correspond to the Box Note you happen to be on. I have to hunt & search if I want to see other docs in the same folder. It would be great if this functionality could be added into Box Notes.

Allow for video to be inserted into Box Notes.
I would appreciate the ability to embed videos onto Notes pages for easy viewing – on the page – by page visitors. Even video uploads aren't allowed.

Align box note shared link experience with file/folder experience
With Box note there is nor "copy" button, neither "email" button. This is not consistant with shared link for file or folder and requires extract actions

Keyboard Shortcut - Widescreen in BoxNotes
There is a new widescreen button on the user interface. It would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut available for it as well.

@Mention Someone When Replying to an Annotation in a Box Note
iIt would be nice to be able to @mention someone in a Annotation within the Box Note. I know you can do it in the comments, but if a note is lengthy and you want to put someone's nose right to where you want them to look (or a tasks you've assigned them to), this would be nice to have.

Adding @mention to the body of the Note is something that we believe would improve the annotations experience in BoxNotes. Although we can’t prioritize this feature at the moment, we will consider this feature when planning our future roadmap.

I want to organize my information in a boxnote with a header and sub-headers
In addition to the formatting of a boxnote I would like to organize my note by header and sub header. With the keyboard shortcut being ctrl-shift-1, ctrl-shift-2, etc.

Remove / Hide avatars when editing a box note
When editing a Box Note, there is an avatar with my initials that jumps around to wherever my cursor is. I find it very distracting and quite annoying. I can't think of any possible benefit to having this bouncing ball showing me that I'm editing the note. I kind of already know that. If others are editing the same note, it shows that, too. Maybe that's of some limited use, although I don't know what I'd do with that information, other than once again be distracted from what I'm trying to do. So anyway, it'd be great if there were…

Nesting Box Notes into Sub Folders
This seems very simple. Just one level of subfolder nesting would help out tremendously!

Windows App Custom Disctionary for Spell Check
Using the Box Notes Windows desktop app is awesome. A huge pain point is the spell-check feature because it lacks a custom dictionary feature. In many cases, my notes are riddled with little red spelling error-underlines because the application doesn't allow me to accept and remember frequently used words. Examples include names, places, people, companies, products, etc. The list could go on but I fell I've effectively communicated my concern.

Ability to not add "http://" Box Notes hyperlink if user enter protocol like "Notes://"
Some user would like to set Lotus notes link like "Notes"//" as a hyperlink but "http://" is added. Therefore the link becomes "http://Notes://'". currently, there is no way to avoid adding "http://".

Make changes and collaboration within BoxNotes more obvious: show when users have made changes, show deleted content/versions, etc.
Differences: show changes for a particular time period. e.g., Smartsheet lets you see changes for the last day, week, month, year, etc.
Differences: show changes for particular users; maybe a different color for each user or some popup or marker next to the line showing who made the changes
Differences doesn't show anything that was deleted. I suppose since there's nothing to highlight. Perhaps consider keeping the text with a strikethrough or perhaps an indicator on that line to show/hide the text that was deleted10 votes
