  2. Adding Deleted to the "Updates" feature

We want to know when people in our company are deleting files and folders, and potentially have the ability to preview those deleted files.

This is not currently planned. One workaround is setting up notifications to let the user know when files are being deleted.

  3. Enable Box DICOM Proxy to send to multiple pre-configured folders

Currently, the Box DICOM Proxy can only send files to 1 specified folder and they are organized dynamically based on the DICOM metadata. If an admin wants to send files to multiple folders based on their own routing logic independent of the DICOM metadata, they need to install multiple instances of the Proxy. This is not scalable when multiple folders are at play.

The ask is to enhance the proxy to support multiple destinations per installation of the proxy. Each destination would point to a pre-defined folder created by the admin.

  4. Collaborators must be Viewer to utilize DICOM viewer.

We were not aware that they would have to invite people into folders as viewers for them to use the DICOM viewer. We wanted to invite people into the folder as previewers. Our concern about the external viewers downloading content in the folders that contain the DICOM images. Will it be possible to invite people into folders with DICOM images in as previewers and still have these collaborators able to use the viewer?

Thank you for this feedback! This is not currently planned. We will reconsider this with additional demand.

  6. Provide default Access set when trying to share a link for the first time when using Box for Office in Outlook

Currently, there is only a default Access link set for those files that have been previously shared.

Our new release of “Box Verified” is designed to try to solve this issue by allowing a box subdomain that is specific to enterprises (and not to personal users).

This is a different approach, but there are so many technical issues with the customer-domain approach (HTTPS certs, DNS syncing, etc.) that it is not feasible at this time.
