remove the character limit on invite messages. the message portion is vital my account and we need to sending specific instructions on folder use and access. this is best when included with the link to the folder as sent by box. ALSO there is nowhere on the site or in the share section that even states there is now a character limit, instead it's just kicking back the invite and preventing it from being sent.

Just ran into this issue for the first time today. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one, but am dismayed that this is set to Not Planned as it's clear this is a pretty prevalent issue.

It is ridiculously frustrating that I have to re-write the entire message!! The character limit should be clearly tracked on the message window in the invitation - and if I go over it should notify me before it completely wipes out what I just wrote!!! Since this character limit setting was intentionally created, this obtuse oversight is hard to understand.

As of 3/19/19, the character count for messages included in "Inviting Collaborators" has been reduced to 254 characters. This is very limiting, as we include a brief message with instructions to those we are inviting. This restriction will require double the effort on our part, as we will now have to "invite" them, and then follow up with an email with the instructions/welcome message. Can the character count restriction be put back to the way it was, or made into a scaleable option to be determined by Admins?
