Native Finder-search (MacOS) is mandatory

"Mac search tools, such as Spotlight, Finder search, tags , do not return search results from Box Drive. Use Box Drive's search functionality instead."
Box Drive is not fit for purpose, since it forces every single file-search in the user's home directory to be executed twice:
- once in the home directory
- then again using Box spotlight search
- then put the 2 Finder windows side by side and do a manual inventory - unbelievable
I frequently search my home directory. The poor search functionality is a major miss, affects my work badly
Please look to Google Drive functionality which is far superior in every way that I can see
If there's a fix on the cards within the next quarter I can overlook it. With immediate effect, I will be using Box as little as possible, and that might expand to never using Box other than when I absolutely have no option other than to browse, navigate, drag/drop a folder
With the rollout Box Drive v2.53 (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/53361463306515-Box-Drive-v2-53-Release-Notes), Spotlight Search is now supported for macOS clients. Users can scope a search in Spotlight to Box Drive, from which [relevant] Box content, in relation to their query, will be returned.
Finder search is still limited in scope, while tags should return tagged Box Drive items. If there's any issues noticed, or if any lacking functionality is still an issue, please let us know.
