MS Office @ mentions to sync and notify users
@ mention comments, tags and notifications section in Microsoft Office apps, should also integrate with Box interface and notifications. Great achievement with co-authoring, however, it is highly inconvenient to have to comment on Box preview, and then open the file to work/edit. Ideally users need to be able to @ mention and tag other colleagues/users within the MS application, which should notify other users to take action on the required document. Otherwise it creates duplication of work/inefficiencies in the process.

Agree with the comments below. We rely on the full application Office applications for as nt all the functionality we use is available via the web versions.

Also can confirm this is an important feature requested by multiple customers who use the MS office integration and it significantly limits the collaboration and keeping track of comments

We can also confirm that this is a critical feature and significantly degrades the collaboration experience. @ mentions that integration within Microsoft Office apps is a must. Commenting in the Preview mode is a very limited workaround.

I think this is an absolute critical feature for collaboration. Without modern commenting, you really can't have collaborative editing in my opinion.
