Adding on to this (and the proposed solution may already include this): there needs to be a way for an app to confirm if the Shield scan has completed. We have an app right now that downloads a file to an internal storage location when a customer uploads it (use case is for our customer service center). We have had instances where a file is downloaded before the scan completes and the file then is flagged as malware. We should be able to have the app confirm if the scan is complete, and pause downloading until it is.
