  1. Box Integartion with Power bi

    hi Team,
    We have a use case in which we are storing all our data in side the Box. For visualization purpose we are using PowerBi.

    Issue faced- Unable to perfrom PowerBI Integration with BOX Through web connector. Could you please provide connector or Any other alternative approach to accomplish this use case.

  2. Box for Teams Integration for Private Channels

    Today, Box for Teams Integration does not support Private Channels.

    Many customers are using Private Channels and need full integration between Box and Microsoft Teams. We do want Microsoft and Box to work together to improve it.

    This limitation is due to Microsoft’s platform not allowing integrations to surface as messaging extensions (Box icon to upload and share documents). Until Microsoft supports this for third parties, Box is unable to deliver this functionality. We are working with Microsoft but there is no timeline for delivery at this point.

  3. Bring the full Google Docs/Slides/Sheets functionality to Box

    Bring the Box for Google Docs & Sheets up to date with the native Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, including implementing the eg locking cells, Macros, add-ons etc so customers can really stay on Box and not have to go through other apps/UIs.

  4. Integrate Workshare Compare into BOX.

    Workshare Compare is the legal industry standard program for marking one version of a document against a prior version. Microsoft Work includes similar functionality but most large law firms, many small law firms, and many corporate legal departments use Workshare Compare. Thank you.

  5. Improve Gmail Integration

    I was hoping that the integration with gmail could be as robust as it is with outlook. I really enjoyed the features of the outlook Box integration and now that I'm on gmail it's a huge step backwards.

  6. Improve the Box for Slack to have the ability to save messages in Slack to Box

    My company's Slack has a 1-year retention policy and messages are to delete within 1 year. I would like to archive messages in Slack to Box (in any searchable form e.g. text, word, BoxNotes etc).

  7. Microsoft Teams iOS app does not open the specific Box folder.

    We're having an issue with Microsoft Teams app on iPhone - Box files plug-in within More tab. It is very possible that this Box Files button in Teams is not designed to link to the specific channel Box folder we have chosen, and instead is designed to redirect us to the All Files page "https://account.box.com/folder/0". On Windows PC, Teams app opens the the specific channel Box folder we have chosen.

  8. Enhance the Box for DocuSign Integration in terms of metadata

    We would like to put some information of DocuSign Envelope (such as contract data, term of contract, type of contract etc.) into Box metadata instance in an automated way. Currently, there's two ways users would be able to do are; 1. users manually populate metadata such as transaction amount in signed document or 2. using iPaaS (Workato) to automate populating metadata. No.1 is inefficient and time-consuming and has human-error risk. No.2 requires additional cost. This is actually required by Japanese local law when we save financial documents digitally.     There should be option in box to export or share a file to other apps instead sharing link. It only provides link option to send file.

    I prefer Google Docs/Sheets over Box Notes because of this functionality.

  13. Launch Zoom inside of Box

    Launch a Zoom video from directly inside of Box web UI, Box Notes, etc.

    The same way that you can launch a Google Meet video conference directly inside of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.

  14. Allow Bluegroups for centrally managing membership across various box folders for teams.

    Every team has multiple Box folders that they use for various purposes. It could be great if BOX could connect with Bluegroups. That way the membership can be added or deleted in one Bluegroup rather than across multiple box folders.

  16. Could Box have integration with Adobe Bridge?

    When I add tags to files in Bridge, they do not show up on the file when I look at the image in Box. I was told by your support department to contact you so that this integration could be created.

  17. Limit the SFDC tenant which can be integrated via Box for salesforce to the one allowed by Box Admin

    In the current Box for Salesforce integration, Box Admin can't limit the Salesforce tenant which can be integrated and Box for Salesforce integration can be setup with normal Box accounts so normal employee can set up Box for Salesforce by using their normal Box account and Salesforce Developer edition.

    Even if the company prohibit to access Box from a private computer from home or outside the company network, once this integration was setup and access token was give to Box for Salesforce application a user can retrieve the contents via Box for Salesforce from a private computer.

    Zoom for Government is a FedRAMP Authorized SaaS service operating at the Moderate baseline and has reciprocity to DoD Impact Level 2. Zoom for Government is operated and controlled by only US Persons-including all customer support personnel, sales engineers, and operations personnel. Zoom for Government has a separate Software Development LifeCycle that is implemented and controlled by US Persons only.

  19. NetSuite move folder contents and link when converting lead-prospect-customer

    I discovered that when you change a customer between the stages of lead/prospect/customer that because each type is linked it's own "Box Record Type Config" and each of those have their own "Record Type Folder Name", that when you go from lead->prospect the files that were originally uploaded to Box that have a folder inside the "lead" folder group does not move with the NetSuite customer change. Hence to the user it seems that the files are lost but really just the link is lost.

  20. Slack/Box integration, no message about permissions when they are correct

    Currently, Slack puts a message that says "Not everyone in the channel can see "XXXX". You can customize the sharing settings below." This happens even when someone can see it because they have permissions to that folder or file.

    This message should not appear when they have permission.
