Ability to change the default attachment setting "Use Box when attaching local file" upon or before installation/deployment
Instead of needing to change it for each user.

Redirect to customer subdomain when using 'View on Box' feature
If a user doesn't have an active Web App session, and they click 'View on Box' from Office, they are brought to the generic login page.
We would like Box for Office to check the user's subdomain and redirect them accordingly.

Box Edit Uninstaller
We like a standard un-installer for Box Edit (even if only the for the EXE version.) We are having to use the PowerShell un-installer requiring admin right assistance multiple times a week and it is not sustainable.

Provide versions of Box Edit ahead of time for testing purposes
We would like to get new updates of Box Edit to test before it becomes generally available. We would also like the ability to control auto update and possibly block this feature.

Setting to adjust Box Edit startup launch when MSI is installed
User would like to a way to prevent Box Edit and Box Local Comm Service from running upon startup. They have the MSI installed and all users in their environment do not utilize Box Edit. User would like a way to prevent Box Edit/Local Comm Service from launching for those users who do not utilize Box Edit.
It still doesn't make sense to have to have the process running for all users when not everyone would be using the application. This would be applicable to both a virtual and non virtual environment since the same settings would apply to computers…

Granular reporting on insufficient permissions when moving content
User received this error notification: collaborate folder could not be moved. However, the destination was not a collaborated folder.
It was vague and would be nice to understand which folder/files are impacted.

There should be an easier way to view or export Box Drive errors especially problem files
One user had over 300 errors in Box Drive. When they try to review the list, they are unable to because the list keeps refreshing and starting at the top.
There is no option to print the page or export it. They can't even expand the size of the window. This makes it difficult for users to investigate the errors properly.

When using "Copy Link," add the file's name and the shared link's access level to the copied text
This will make it work more consistently with other products like Box for Office

Allow for use with disaster loss prevention (DLP) programs like those offered by Symantec.
DLP works by whitelisting specific device IDs. However Box Drive does not make a fixed device ID.

Make Box for Desktop unmount the "Box" folder if the computer is locked.
Did another test to see if Box Desktop would disconnect if I locked my computer- it does not. My box is available to a user with Admin rights. This could be a potential security risk. A slim risk, however; I believe a fix would be to have box desktop disconnect at lock or switch user. Not sure if that is possible, but it might appease some users worried about their data being accessible, by another user with admin rights.

Provide a stable (unchanging) hardware or Device ID for the "Box" mount created by Box Drive
We need a way to exclude the "Box" mount from AV/DLP/Security products. Many of these products need a Device ID for their exclusion policies.

Drag and Drop with System Tray vs. Explorer
We are unable to drag drop files into an application when pulling content from the system tray but are able to do so from Box Drive in the Windows Explorer

Allow Box Drive to be hidden if the computer is being accessed by someone who is not the user (remote login)
Currently, when an IT admin remotely logs into a user's computer, they can access Box Drive (and therefore all of Box) regardless of permissions, and can even download content to their own desktop. This presents a security risk for companies who allow their IT admins to access users' desktops.
