Showing PDF annotations on mobile applications
We would like the ability to show PDF annotations on both iOS and android, from different PDF applications. This would include Adobe PDF and Nuance PDF to name a couple.
Currently, when a PDF annotation is added from Adobe or another PDF software application, it is not possible to view that PDF annotation from the Box mobile application. You would have to download the PDF to the device locally to view any annotations.

PDF bookmark support for Android devices
We would like to see full implementation of PDF bookmark support for Android devices, similar to what the current iOS application offers. At present, there is an icon & text that indicates bookmarks should be accessible for PDFs, but in actuality the feature non-functional and not supported yet.

box app should open other apps in their own instance
It's very annoying when using box mobile (android) that when I want to send a file it opens the other apps inside the box instance and not in their own processes. For example a photo gets opened in f-stop which then shares to social media app but then all have to back out to get back to the box folder I started in and I can't keep any of those apps open where they were which in this case prevents adding a second photo to the same posts. I don't see this same trapped behavior in other apps.

Option to disable preview of PDFs on phone
When I open PDF on iPhone it displays correctly but box preview seems to be ignoring multiply/darken layers and just display them without this. This causes white boxes and images being cut one from another.

I would like to be able to take wide lens photos in Box Capture for iOS.
I work in the real estate business and used to take a lot of photos with Box Capture for iOS. But, apparently Box Capture only uses the standard lens of my iPhone 11 Pro. Is there a possibility that with an upgrade we will be able to use the wide lens and tele lens also?

I would like the ability to open documents from the Box iPad app in new tabs. Chrome allows me to do a long hold and be given the option to open in a new tab. This would be a nice function in the iPad app.

select default name for auto uploads from mobile
When images are uploaded from my phone to Box, they are named IMG_12345.JPG. I'd like to have the date in the file name (this is the setting for Sync.com uploads, and if I recall correctly last I used it, Dropbox.com).
Ideally, users would be able to choose their desired naming structure but datetime would still be a big improvement over a sequential number.

Box Capture File Name
I want the file names of Box Capture pictures to be "date and time" instead of "date and sequential numbers", just like when shooting with the Box app.
Example:
Box Capture: "2021-01-11_001.jpg"
Box (Take Photo or Video): "Image 2021-01-11 14.00.00.jpg"Currently, the file names conflict and the files become messed up order, especially when several people share a folder and take pictures.
I would appreciate if you could improve it.

From Mobile apps, be able to stop autoread to next files
It is when we put several mp3 files into a box folder or share multiple files with others. Then, when accessed these through the box app on a phone .... If we play one, the phone doesn't stop at the end, but goes on to play the next mp3 in the folder or the list of files shared.
Having just that one feature is indesirable. It generates less traffic to the apps and less exposure to Box other services ... I suppose the assumption was possibly for listening to music. But when we share podcasts or voice recordings, the current…

Box drains my iphone 7 battery, even though it shouldn't be open or running in the background
Each morning I use a "Numbers" app file which is saved to Box on my iphone so that I can use it on my MacBook pro. The problem is whilst I haven't directly opened the Box app to do this save, it opens and continues to run in the background and drain the battery (60% in an hour is typical). Eventhough in the app settings "Background app refresh" is off as is "Notifications", I can only stop this drain if I turn the phone off and back on again. I am running ios 14.2 and I keep all apps up-to-date.…

Shared link works on desktop but fails on mobile
I received a Box link from a contact in the form https://app.box.com/s/[string]/folder/[string]. Clicking this link in iOS Mail app opened a Box web page in Safari with the message "This shared file or folder has been removed." I tried to resolve this by installing the Box app. Clicking the link now opened the Box app with a message telling me I must log in to access my content. This would not be possible for recipients without a Box account.

Markdown preview is blank in iOS. Markdown used to render into a preview on iOS when selecting a .md file. Now it just shows a blank screen. Requesting this gets fixed, I used this feature quite a bit and it's been broken for some time now

File Picker utilizing mobile deep link for Box iOS/Android App
Dropbox has a library called Chooser, which makes it easy to select files in Dropbox from custom Mobile apps. ( https://www.dropbox.com/developers/chooser#ios )
Dropbox Chooser uses mobile deep link bidirectionally to move between a custom app and the Dropbox app. As for Box app, mobile deep link is one-way; the Box app can be opened but it is not possible to select files and go back to the custom app.
The major advantages of using Dropbox Chooser for service providers are as follows.

In App PDF reader changes make the app frustrating to use
Recently the UI for the PDF reader changed. I use Box primarily to read review copies of comic books, which DC Comics only make available to view in the app. Until recently this worked fine on my iPad, displaying the full page as I flipped through. CAPTURE for a SurfacePro?
App for BOX members to download that will work the same way CAPTURE does for iPhone and iPad but on a SurfacePro? I need my inspectors to be able to quickly snap photos, videos or document scans and then upload and securely share them with Box on a SurfacePro. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

View versions of documents on ipad ios device
Currently there is no option to view previous versions and audit history on a mobile device, would be good for those that work entirely off an ipad and not a pc to be able to do this.
