Being able to preview PPTs in notes view
Currently, when you click on a PPT document in box, the preview only shows slide view but it would be super helpful to be able to see it in notes view in the preview so that we don't have to fully open the document or download it to see all the content within the PPT

Support preview for macro enabled MS Office files. Also add preview support for .jcl files for z/OS.
Many types of MS Office files are already supported by Box Preview. Not sure why adding the macro-enabled file support has not been done.
JCL (Job Control Language) files are used extensively in z/OS for many different types of work. It would be nice to store them in Box with the .jcl suffix to distinguish them from run of the mill .txt files.

Links on PowerPoint slides are shown with yellow overlay. Want to change this setting
Would like the ability to change the way linked objects on PowerPoint slides are shown in Box.com. Currently, hover on a linked object displays a transparent yellow overlay. Suggest this is changed to darken or lighten content, or outline. Best case: let the content creator determine the best method to display their linked content.

support the preview of other types of compressed files such as .7z, .TAR, and .XIP
It's very helpful that Box now supports previewing Zip Files as noted at https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196713-Previewing-Zip-Files, and we would like to know if there are plans to support the preview of other types of compressed files such as .7z, .TAR, and .XIP?

High quality watermarked PDF downloads.
I'm not sure where this should go, but the current feature that allows downloads to be watermarked is great, except the quality of the downloaded document is not great. It is very difficult to read because the resolution changes when the watermark is applied. In fact, it's so bad in our case that the service is not usable and we have to find a different service to watermark PDFs for our downloaders. It would be great if you could find a way to improve the quality of the PDF when a watermark is applied. Thank you.

make the current page more obvious in the ppt preview panel
In the (ppt) preview the current page in the left panel has a rather innocuous grey border that is difficult to spot, so it's too easy to loose track of which page I'm looking at in the overall document.
It would be better if it used a brighter accent colour, or maybe change the colour of the entire whitespace around the current page.

0 Second .mov files do not preview
If a .mov file is 0 seconds in length, it fails to preview on Box.com and mobile applications. iOS for new versions defaults pictures to this file format. Therefore, many pictures taken on newer iPhones do not preview in Box.

A method/feature to be able to preview each version on wide screen
Regarding versioning – We can preview each old version but it reverted to the current version once we click Hide Sidebar ([>]).
We request for a method/feature to be able to preview each version on wide screen.

Treat .todo files as plain text
There is a plugin for Sublime Text that lets you create .todo files for task lists. These are just plain text files so it would be great if they could be previewed and treated as plain text. I'm mainly interested in being able to use the versioning to see the history of these files.

support more video formats : VOB, MTS
Panasonic store videos in MTS format, it's popular
Ripping a DVD outputs VOB, popular as well
On the road video reviewing would be very useful as we can do that in Dropbox and get easily accustomed to such facility.1 vote -

Document stamp / seal of approval
In addition to being able to watermark documents, users could be authorized by administrators to customize the image to allow the addition of stamps/chops for legal purposes, approvals, compliance reasons, etc.

Add "expand all" flag for annotations
Currently, all point/comment annotations are collapsed by default.
If a user leaves many annotations on a multi page document, this can lead to some point annotations being missed.
There should be an expand all option to mitigate this.

Most of our decks are larger than 500 MB and this is a poor experience for our executives and customers.

Allow no logo to be displayed via API while allowing customers to display their own logo for standard web app.
It would be best if we could display no logo at all for API-generated embed / previews.
