Direct Links for files on Box Drive
We have Excel files that reference each other that we moved from local drives to Box Drive. The links change to whatever box folder we move them to, but the path is listed as "C:\users\username\filename"... etc. We need these links to reference the actual Box URL so that other people who have access to the file can still get the updated reference.

The Box Drive folder can now be placed in a ‘general’ location outside of C:\users\username. This should resolve your issue. More information can be found here: https://community.box.com/t5/Deploying-Managing-Box-Drive/Configuring-the-Default-Box-Drive-Folder-Location/ta-p/66248

I believe the most recent version of Box Drive resolved this issue.

We to are unable to migrate our finance department because of this issue. This is preventing us from moving 100% to Box

This is critical for us to be able to migrate our finance department out of on prem servers and into Box.
