starts with, ends with, contains in metadata search
We have quite a large number of folders and files for a specific application in Box. To filter results, we'd like toi be able to use "Contains", "starts with" or "ends with" in the metadata search fields

This is not on the short term roadmap (6 month) due to other higher priorities.

For our use case it is important to trigger a workflow based on metadata availability. E.g. when a string metadata contains a list of values (think about a list of violated policies a document was validated against) and for a specific value in that list a workflow should be started (think about that a financial policy violation is listed the financial remediation workflow has to be started).
Right now only "equals" or "starts with" are supported metadata matching options but "contains" is missing.
Using multi value string fields is no option right now as those are not supported in search which is another important use case from our side that the metadata values are searchable. -

For example, if your text field was "abcd", let the item be returned if you search for "ab" or "cd"
