use @mention in the Office suites of software (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
Currently, we are able to do commenting of the document in Box by using the @mention. But we are not able to do the same when we are editing document in the native Ms Office software eg Words, Excel & PowerPoint. The @mention does not work.
Would like to have the same feature when we are working in the native document?

Used this all the time working from SharePoint, not sure why it's not in Box as it's very useful.

This is fundamental to creatives to know they can seamlessly collaborate on documents with team members, as the previous comment it was very useful in Sharepoint and needs to be added to Box.

+1 to this, we have had constant requests from our users for this functionality and now that co-editing is possible via the Office integration it feels like this should be more technically feasible than it once was
