Box Sign via Text / SMS
Make it possible to send documents to be signed via text messages and other apps, such as WhatsApp, etc. Many of our clients don't have email addresses.

Box Sign via Text/SMS is not under consideration for the future 2024 roadmap due to other priorities and effort.
Please continue upvoting the request, we will review this request again next year.

Not considered for 2024?? Like others, emails are not being read regularly and for industries where staff are not on a desk and are physically out on various sites, getting an sms with a link to sign is far more practicle!

In today’s world most people are much more familiar with and comfortable with getting text messages and actioning on items from there. Tons of people never check their personal emails regularly. When dealing directly with the public (as opposed to B2B), getting a text to alert you to sign a document is much more likely to get a response. This is especially true when an immediate response is needed, as is often the case with health services.
