Ability to trigger multiple workflows
“Lets put it like this, if you have the functionality to split workflows based on different files in 1 folder, people here would want to switch from Sharepoint to Box ?. It is currently the key reason to stay with Sharepoint as far as I’m made aware of.”
Basically, the customer wants to be able to trigger multiple workflows within one folder, but only on some files for each workflow. Currently they could achieve this through metadata, but this would not be contained to the folder.

It will be great if we can connect folder action between multiple flows.
When you have in the first flow a folder action (copy, move or create), you won't be able to reference the folder in a seconf flow if you want to take action if the task that has been rejected.
I have created a couple of Relay Flow (Contract Management and HR Onboarding) during the flow I create folder to collect more information from either a vendor a new onboard person, but when the flow get rejected and could not create a rejection flow (Second flow) because could not take action on a folder.
This could be important when we will…

Limits for simultaneous file uploads and Batch processing capability
I usually upload folders. Each folder could have 1 or 2 files, or 6 or 7 files, or more. When it's just 1 or 2, everything is fine, but when there are 4 or more, they seem to eat up my bandwidth. It would help if there was a limit within Box to control how many files upload simultaneously. Additionally, having a true batch process would be very helpful. That would allow me to line up several folders to upload and each one would upload in turn.

Selecting approvers and move destination folders of outcomes dynamically
I got a request from my business partners that it might be very nice for them to be able to select approvers and move destination folders of each outcome dynamically.
They feel inconvenience to create Relay flows as the sames number of external collaboration folders of every company.1 vote -
move/arrange flows by moving them onto the worflow tree (on the right)
The aim is to modify the order of a flow by moving it through the workflow tree (on the right of the screen). This will be useful when U duplicate a flow and move it to another place into the scenario.

Would have appreciated more notice in regards to changes made depreciating the old API when File Request was released.
We missed the notice where everything using the old app would break. We had used this app to embed many upload widgets in web pages, then they all broke simultaneously. We were left scrambling to fix every page that was broken. It’s just a lengthy process on our end to replace the functionally that was broken in our all live pages.”

Import data already on Box into DICOM viewer
The only way to import images into the DICOM viewer right now is to upload directly using the import tool. This is problematic for two reasons: 1. large sets of data are handled better through Drive or Sync than a web interface and 2. data already in Box need to be downloaded and then imported (uploaded) again using the import tool, which is not practical when working with 10s-100s of GB of DICOM data. There should be a mechanism to import data already stored on Box into the DICOM viewer.
This may be similar to a different issue: https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778-help-shape-the-future-of-box/suggestions/36114310-direct-dicom-upload-endpoint-desired

Need ability to migrate workflows between Box instances
For M&A use cases, it's my understanding that Relay workflows cannot be migrated once Box instances are merged - it'd be nice to have this built into the product so that companies that are constantly acquiring other companies (on Box) don't have to worry about losing access to business critical workflows.

viewing PDF on box online
when viewing a PDF online, the toolbar (toggle thumbnails, zoom, pages, fullscreen) that hovers towards the bottom tends to cover areas that i need to see. can this toolbar live somewhere else? or make it disappear until you mouse over that area?

Group permissions allowed using auto-start template with Box Relay
Our use case requires that group permissions be allowed when using auto-start template with Box Relay. As of right now it only allows for a direct permissions to a folder before publishing the workflow.
4 votesAll enhancements and new features will be considered as part of the all new Relay planned for GA on June 26, 2019.
New feature including group permissions will be evaluated post-GA.

Add option to cancel workflow, move files to trash automatically on reject
On rejecting, the workflow options are to go back to a previous step or to complete the workflow. However, if you reject, you may want the workflow to end and if the file has been rejected you certainly don't want to save it to the approved files directory (this has happened to us recently and caused a problem with a customer). On rejecting there should be a different option - to cancel the workflow and trash the files or auto-select a "rejected documents trashbin folder" in order to avoid accidentally saving rejected files to an approved files directory. This sounds…

Move uploaded files (via an Automation) to different folders based on the file type.
Use case: Users could bulk upload a range of file types (docx, image pdf, audio etc) into a single folder that redirects each file based on the file type to different folders for different skills processing.
Example: a word doc and an audio file could be uploaded to the same folder the word doc gets auto moved to a folder that triggers a skill to extract concepts however the audio file is moved to a folder that triggers a speech to text skill (the text could then be auto moved to the same folder as the word doc for concept…2 votes -
Allow comments on more than one file at a time. Also it would be great if the comments would follow a file.
Comments on multiple files.

Records Retention Functionality
This is a very old idea that should available for Box users. Dealing with real records retention not retention policies as currently used in Box. Records/Document retention deals with the management of information thru its lifecycle - Records/documents are created, used, store, archived, kept permanently (for administrative, legal, fiscal, and historical reasons) or destroyed. Currently, there is no way to apply records retention rules or schedules to Box, which means that we are only dumping content instead of managing the content based on its value - based on a company's records retention schedules. Why not put together a group of…

File Checker
I would like my program to be able to access all .pdf files in a given folder, and read them to find and extract specific information on each .pdf document like scraping the text data in each of the .pdf fields. This data would then be used to compare to an excel spreadsheet.
This would essentially be a file checker. Making sure that the information entered on a .pdf file is the information that we have on a separate excel spreadsheet.
