Thumbnail Support for Box Drive
Especially useful in a marketing/creative shared folder

This feature was delivered for Windows in Box Drive v2.25!
Users can now quickly preview of files in Explorer and Box Drive search without having to open these files.
This feature is under consideration for macOS devices.

I agree. In the graphic design world (iOS) it is essential for us to be able to quickly view a file. I used file preview (Quick Look) on our old drive multiple times an hour. Opening and closing files all day just to see what they are is a gigantic waste of time. It blows my mind that this feature was overlooked. There's programmers for you. I'm writing this on behalf of the other 15+ designers in our company in both Graphics and Marketing. We should have stuck with One Drive...

That Box doesn't offer photo thumbnails remains incredulous to me. How do you expect professionals to do our job when we can't see thumbnails of photos .... I have to copy all of my photos OFF of Box and on to my hard drive just so that i can do my job. I'm seriously considering moving my entire company to OneDrive and off of Box simply because of this issues ... it's an UNBELIEVABLE productivity killer. Why even use Box if it's going to kill productivity --- at a minimum you guys need to say 1. are you going to create this functionality, and 2. when .... if not, i am moving my company to a different solution. This is RIDICULOUS.

Box Drive to show Thumbnails in icons.
Inserting pictures to documents requires intuitive preview feature. Drive does not pull the previews quick enough. Box Web shows previews but files are unworkable.

We absolutely need this feature. Anyone involved in graphic design or website development needs this feature. Even if it were only for files marked for offline access it would be great.

BOXドライブでは、写真ファイルがアイコンでプレビューされないので、ファイルがキャッシュされていなくてもプレビューできるように改善して頂きたいです。写真を整理する際にとても不便です。よろしくお願い致します。

I would love this feature even if it were only available for folders I had available for offline access.
However, ideally, I'd be able to turn and turn off thumbnail caching for folders independently of making the entire folder offline, particularly because media files can be so large. It would be great to cache just the thumbnail.
