Box Drive for Windows on Arm
With the release of new Copilot PC by Microsoft and other partners that run on Arm processors it would be nice to be able to install Box Drive on Windows on Arm.
Box Drive beta is complete, and this capability is now available in the latest public release. To install the Windows version with ARM support, visit https://www.box.com/resources/downloads. For release details, see https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/43804162052627-Box-Drive-v2-47-for-Windows-Release-Notes.

Silicon is the future. You made Box Drive compatible with the M1/M2 Mac platform -- why are you abandoning those of us who use Windows on Arm? Please get this done, or you will lose customers who prioritize the benefits of silicon-based Windows productivity tools over which cloud service they use. Fortunately, lots of options.

I am not able to use Box Drive with my Microsoft Surface Pro X. Tech support for Box said it was because it was an Arm device.

This is also needed for Windows ARM on Parallels. In the business environment, we use Parallels to run some Windows-only applications on Mac M1s. Win11 ARM works just fine and Drive works fine on native M1 - but will not run on the Parallels VM.
Workaround is using BOX Sync on the Mac to sync the most important files and then using that as a shared folder within Parallels.

I just bought a Surface X and now that it has arrived, I learned that Box drive is not available on ARM based devices. That is going to make my device much harder to use.
Please offer Box drive for Surface X users.

Currently, Box Drive does not function on devices running Windows 10 on ARM.
ARM-based PCs are already taking over the Apple desktop and laptop ecosystem. Following that trend, Windows on ARM will likely become an increasingly important OS in the marketplace. Box Drive is an essential app for many Box users on Windows, and support will be necessary as the world migrates to ARM-based PCs.
