Log logs reporting
There is no event logged when a user reports user activity or security logs. Could be worth to log that event along with the report criteria to be able to rack unusual reporting.

User Activity report should have logs for “New version upload”
At present, it only shows as “Edit” and if a new version with a different name was uploaded on a file by mistake, the admin will not be able to find out what happened by searching for the file name.

Remove message model when changing owners
We would like message prompts that come up whenever with changing owners to be gone within the move and copy module so moving items between different folders is faster and quicker.

Permissions for forensic investigations
Would like a “forensic” co-admin permission. The “forensic” co-admin permission would have the permission to “login as…” any user; however, any action they take “as user” will not be reported either in access stats or in other user accessible reports.
This will allow our team to conduct forensic investigations without alerting the end user.

Currently our event log does not log detailed about activity made in External Folders
For example, copying files from an internal folder to an external folder our admin logs does not log the file name or details about the file. Only logs the File ID and target Folder ID.
We should log activity made in external folders.Registering Webhooks against external folders detailed logs are exported. We should be logging the same details to our admin logs.

Add a tab in the admin console to find all active betas
It's difficult to find the beta sign up link for betas in the admin console. They are not all in one place.
Please create a tab in the admin console to find all active betas a customer can sign up for. This will standardize beta enrollment and improve our experience.

Perform full file and folder inventory for users that includes the folders/files which they can access
Requesting to perform full file and folder inventory for users that includes the folders/files they have access to, not just the ones they own. Include fields like – date modified, created date, and any other file attributes normally included in the file and folder report.
The File and Folder reporting mechanism but it’s lacking features to perform an inventory across hundreds of specific folders (in an environment where a lot of folders have the same name).

Detailed content access reporting by location, client, user, etc.
We'd like to see a report in the Admin Console that shows where content is being accessed from and by whom, specifically for mobile (iOS or Android, etc.); but other information like Box Drive or Web App would also be helpful.

Consolidate User and Event Log Files
I am currently downloading Box event log files for my company and am seeing instances where the User Event log and the Admin Event log have holes in their data.
For instance, User Event Log is giving us fields such as item path (path_collection) and file/folder description, but it is not including field data such as IP address.
Conversely, Admin Event Log is giving us IP address, but not item path or file/folder description.We are trying to prevent duplication of data on our end, so we would like to be able to use one log or the other; however,…

Enable a enterprise setting to not require the use of the verification email when creating accounts that are not SSO
I have the need to be able to have accounts created in our test instance and then be able to either directly log into these account or go into them via the Admin Console to log in to verify settings and other items. The Test instance is currently not requiring SSO, direct login to Box only. So the request will be either have a enterprise setting or per user setting to be able to create a Box account but just have it able to be logged into without a verification email being sent and the link being selected.

Ability to sort folders that appear in the "Select folders this user can access" view
The current view includes both parent and sub-folders. We would like a method for choosing Favorites or such that allows control of that window's view.
As we have a large number of folders, the current view is unmanageable and searching is cumbersome.

check status of options in the admin console
We can't check the area of Zones option now, Box should be better to check status of options in the admin console. That's not only Zones.

Allow filtering by application name or service type within the reporting UI (ie: Box FTP Server).
Currently, I can filter in the reporting UI by clicking things like the user or file name from the reporting results. I used to be able to click on "Service: etc", but it didn't do anything.
Box has since removed the ability to click on this, but we would find it helpful to be able to filter these results within the reporting UI.

This feature is not planned for the first half of this year as we improve usability of the existing Managed Users page. We will revisit this feature request in the second half of the year and as more customers demand this type of report.
