  4. Ability to report on amount of content stored over time (more than week view) & ideally ability to break down by region (global).

We would like to see the evolution of their Box account, how much content we continue to add over time from when we initially deployed, and to break this down by our global teams.

  5. List of all single file AND folder collaborations for user(s)

We want the ability to audit/control all extant collaborations on a per user basis.

  6. Admin add confirmed Email Aliases

In an SSO Required + Auto-provisioning environment, the best way for a Box Admin to update a primary email address is to use the Admin Console. However, adding the Alias to the account adds an unconfirmed email address. If the User's AD record changes before the user has accepted that email, a new account will be auto-provisioned, instead of using the existing account.

This suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap because there is not enough demand from customers to sort members by in a group.

We need more information about this request and customer use cases in order to prioritize this on the roadmap

  15. Show number of collaborations user has

In the search results view of the Managed Users section of Admin Console, currently all you can see on the second line is Active/Inactive state, and bytes owned.

It would be very useful if we could also see a numerical count of collaboration invites in this view.

This suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. We can revisit this request as we see more demand from customers to view the number of collaborations for each user.

This suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. We are currently focusing on improving the experience to manage users in the Users & Groups tab before we add sorting enhancements to the Groups UI.

  17. Allow group admins the ability to invite lite users as managed

We use the group admin functionality to allow project teams to manage their Box access. They have hundreds of projects at a time so it is not feasible for the Box global admins to manage this onboarding/offboarding (which occurs on a weekly basis). Group admins have the ability to create new users as a managed user but can not invite existing lite users, which places a bottleneck on IT to invite these users in. Alternatively error messaging around this could be updated to specify why the users can't be added (currently it is not clear).

This suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. However, we would like more information and details from the requester on whether or not having the ability to invite external users to groups could solve this problem.

  18. User statistics to include users with zero activity

User statistic reports only return users who have an action against the names, rather than reporting all users as it previously did
    Expected Behavior:

User statistic report should return all users in the box account rather than just those with actions. This is so that the client can target users who have not logged into box

  19. Ping Federate connector to automatically sign people out of all apps when deprovisioning

Use the API call "Update User" to force a user to change password (and in doing so, log them out of all applications) when deprovisioning a user using outbound provisioning. This isn't necessary if users are being deprovisioned to "Deleted" or "Inactive" status, but if they are being set to "Cannot Delete, Edit & Upload", then the user will still have access to Box via Sync/Mobile clients

This suggestion is not under consideration for the future roadmap. We are currently focused on improving our user interface and key flows of user management before we add enhancements to the de-provisioning process.

  20. Team Leads - Allow Reporting

    1. The file Access Stats feature has been requested to be exportable for all records. Similar to this Q.

    2. A user requested to have access to self-run a filtered view of the Admin-Collaborations report to quickly see the status of all his collaborators (he deals with numerous external users and needs to know who to re-prompt.)

We would like this outside of the Admin/Co-Admin being able to do it.

We will still require admins/co-admins to grant access to reports such as this. However, we are looking into which controls and reporting might require additional self-serve enablement options.
