We have recently updated the login page which includes “Part of Company”. This experience is critical for Box to authenticate internal and external users. Therefore, we will do not plan to remove this page or language from this experience.

Show number of unread notifications on left menu bar
In the past, users were given the number of unread notification they have on the left menu bar. This has now been replaced by a red badge. We would prefer to have the number display so it is more accessible.

Recents in Sidebar - Display list of Recents in Sidebar
As of April 2018, Favorites now display directly in the Web App sidebar.
This request is to expose Recents directly in the sidebar similar to how Favorites are currently shown.

Preview should either fully support PDF Portfolios or not preview them at all
When our users try to preview a PDF Portfolio document, they see the message "For the best experience open this PDF Portfolio in Acrobat X..." Which is fine since it isn't supported in preview.
However, if the user refreshes the page, it generates a preview for only the first page so then users think that the other content is lost.
If this file type is not supported then no preview showing is better than a partial preview which confuses users.

Display folders owned by outbound collaborator when Admin instant login to managed user account
When Administrator instant login to managed user's account, it is not possible to see the shared folder from outbound collaborator. It makes it difficult for Administrator to monitor activities on outbound collaborations.
It is not required to allow Administrator seeing anything, but if they can at least see folder name and owner for outbound collaboration it could benefit Administrator

BOX messaging on EXE previews
I am raising this issue again because we have 2 new software products that are coming out soon. We expect both to be very popular and the below message is VERY confusing that occurs when you try to access an exe file is not acceptable. In fact, it may cause customers not to download the software (both of which have free trial offers before purchase). The current message is a bad customer experience. Saying that .exe files are not supported is ridiculous and not true. It sounds like you cannot get the files--which you really can--you just need to Download.

Show "editing" or "active" icon next to the filename in file list
Similar to "lock" icon displayed next to the filename, display editing or active icon when someone is touching or editing the file.
This may be similar feature as file "presence" feature, but the user would be able to figure it out from the list of files.7 votes -
Ability for non-collaborators to comment on content
Allow for external users to comment on content (feature would also contain some indication of comments made from internal vs external users)

Ability for a folder owner to opt-out of email notifications when a collaborator shares or accepts an invitation
An Admin owns all folders for the enterprise and she receives an email every time a collaborator invites another user to the folder, and then again when it's accepted.
It caused a lot of noise in her inbox. Short of setting up an Outlook rule, the Admin would like to opt-out of these notifications.
This would be helpful for enterprises whose admin's own the content, or at least root level folders for their users.

'Content I Own' section on left side of UI
As an admin, I would like a section where users can see just the content I own

Create annotations that aren’t visible to other users
Annotation that only the user/owner can see and not to other collaborators.
5 votesThe overall request for the ability to annotate files in Box is tracked here: https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778-feedback/suggestions/35984509-ability-to-annotate-markup-files-documents-ima
Specific to this request, we do not plan to expose the ability to mark up a file (with highlights, drawings, etc.) with annotations that aren’t visible to other users. The primary use case for annotations in Box is to share feedback on a given file, like these examples:
“Update this paragraph to be here instead” on a document or “Change the color of this to blue” on an image
