Display the error message immediately when admin console reports(Folders & Files) failed to export.
When admin console reports failed to export due to limitations(10 million item limitation etc), users can't immediately notice the failure.

As a qualitative researcher, I'd like to be able to collate annotations in Box Notes so it's easy to grab all of them w/o having to copy and paste each one. Right now, I can only copy and paste some of them, but for others, while I can read them, I can't click on the text to copy and paste (the annotation kind of drops from view). This would mimic some of the functionality in the Reviewing Pane in Word, where you can see all the comments made in one spot and copy and paste from there. Note that I'm referring to annotations and NOT comments in a Box Note!

Granular control of API calls within UI elements
Mitie use Box platform to surface payslips to their employees. For this they use a Box UI element. As they analyse their API consumption they feel that the UI elements are using a lot of API calls - more than planned for and they are worried this will impact the price of their engagement come renewal. One thing in particular they have noticed is that when a user previews a document, the UI elements pre-fetches what looks like the next five documents, presumably for performance reasons. Since their users only every preview one document (the current months payslip) they are asking for the ability to turn off the prefetch as a configuration when the UI element is loaded on the page.

Disable PDF activity pane at the enterprise level
Would like the ability to disable the PDF "activity" pane on the enterprise level as described here:

Share Links report w/ direct link column
Current reporting allows admins to export a snapshot of all 'shared links' but it does not show the 'direct links' to those files. Customers who use direct links are not able to pull a report showing the file name, direct link and other information about the file. Reporting on direct links can also keep the admin aware of direct linked files that are public facing that might be a security issue.

Email notification for new reports available in My Box Reports Folder
Please add a new feature to enable email notifications when Box reports I request becomes available in My Box Reports folder. I find that some reports may take several hours to run, specifically the Files and Folders report, and I need to constantly check refreshing the page to see if the report has been uploaded.

The current upload limit for the email listener in Box is 50MB. There should be options to increase.

Box Admin Essentials Getting Started
The Login and Security Settings section of ‘Box Admin Essentials Getting Started’ doesn't specify that the settings explained are only for Enterprise accounts. Please add a disclaimer that states this. As a Business account holder, I was confused when I couldn't select the settings shown in the course, which led me to submitting a support ticket to see if something was wrong with my account.

Security settings for Business accounts
Since Enterprise and Business accounts have different security settings, replace the Enterprise Settings with Business Settings tailored to Business Accounts. It doesn't make sense for Business accounts to view security settings they can't use and causes confusion when those options aren't selectable.

New File Request Submit Button moved to top or fit within viewport
New File Request Template moves the submit button out of the viewport. Users will upload the file without scrolling down to fully 'submit' the file. Can we move the submit button to top of page, or make that preview page smaller to fit within viewport? See Customer comment below:
"The thing about this template is that the CTA to submit is buried in the footer and outside the user's viewport on a laptop. I’ve seen with surveys when the CTA is not in the viewport, a portion of users miss it and never actually submit. And, there is no feedback to remind the user they need to submit. In other words, the user uploads and sees that is it uploading, they enter their info and there is nothing that forces them to submit.
Also, when you scroll down to the CTA , it bounces back to the bottom and you have to scroll again to get it into full so that you can click it. That bouncing I mentioned is due to the fact that the iframe embed forces you to scroll and and so does the page the iframe lives on. This means that even if a user scrolls down, they need to also scroll down in both places. What I do when designing those external surveys is break up the content so that all the CTA’s fall within the viewport. "

New update with the search bar on the top is inconvenient.
Definitely prefer the search bar at the bottom closer to the box drive link. It's just easier to use there for fast searching. Less distance the mouse has to travel, and eyes are already focused there.

MS One Note integration needed
I use MS One Note very often and would like the ability to share with Box however there are many issues and end up saving the One Note file on a shared drive which does not have the same features as Box...I am trying to move away from utilizing shared drives and using Box primarily, however issues like One Note imcompatibility are preventing me from moving away from shared drives.

On Box Notes collaboration modal, display more than 5 candidate users when inviting users.
Currently, up to 5 users are displayed on collaboration modal of Box Notes, which is far less than 50 users of webapp. We want Notes to parallel webapp on this.

options dialog when moving and file already exists in destination
Currently, when a file is in the process of being moved from one folder to other and a file with the same name already exists in the destination folder, an error message is given and the operation is candelled.
Maybe an options dialog would be better, asking the user if they want to overwrite (add a new version of) the file, or rename either of the files within the dialog.1 vote -

We would like a function to disable comments, tasks, and version history when "Hide collaborators and their activities from non-owners" is enabled in the "Privacy" folder settings.
If you invite multiple external collaborators, you don't want external people to detect who you are inviting.
There is a function to hide collaborators, but if invited external users use comments, tasks, version history, it will be possible to see who is invited, so we would like to disable these functions I do.4 votes -
Copy file name and URL and path for shared link
The "Copy Shared Link" action in Box Drive (or Copy button in the Share pop-up dialog in the Web UI) should copy more than just the URL.
It should also have the file name and the current Box path so when I paste the link into a chat or email message, it has all the information the recipient will want.<path> > '<filename>"
