Folder event in Automate
Please read the following on the assumption of a tenant where, under Enterprise settings, "Restrict invites" is checked and users with Editor permission cannot invite others.
When trying to create a new workflow in Automate, folders where the user was invited as an Editor cannot be selected at all. For many flow triggers — such as file events, folder events, and sending file requests — folder selection is not possible.

Box Search Returns Partial-Match Results — Unable to Search for Exact Folder/File Name Only
Summary: When a user searches for a term in Box that is also a substring of another folder or file name, Box returns both the exact match and the partial matches in the search results. There is currently no way to perform an exact-match-only search in Box, which makes it difficult for users to isolate specific content when similarly named items exist.

Developer Console: Add App Deletion Safeguards & Contextual Delete Separation to Prevent Accidental App Deletion
In the Box Developer Console (app.box.com/developers/console), deleting a custom application is an irreversible action that permanently revokes the Client ID and breaks all active client/vendor installations with no self-service or support recovery path.
Currently, two UX gaps lead to catastrophic accidental deletions:
Ambiguous Button Scope Across Tabs: The global "Delete App" option is present in the navigation/footer across individual configuration tabs (such as Integrations, Webhooks, Configuration). Developers frequently mistake "Delete" for deleting the specific integration or webhook they are currently configuring, rather than the entire Box application.

Distinguish “Content Access” and “Download” events
In the User Activity Report (and related activity logs), “Content Access” and “Download” events currently do not clearly distinguish between:
1) Actions explicitly initiated by an end user, and
2) Records generated by Box internal processing (e.g., system/background processing, thumbnail generation, programmatic/chunked access, or other non-user-facing operations).
As a result, admins cannot reliably interpret audit logs for security monitoring, compliance, and incident investigation. False positives or ambiguous records make it difficult to determine what a user actually did.

A feature to export Box Relay execution history for specific time periods
We would like a feature that allows us to export the execution history of Box Relay for a specific time period.
When a system failure or issue occurs, we need to quickly check and identify the impact across all workflows at once, which is currently very difficult when managing a large number of Box Relays and workflows. Having an export feature for specific timeframes would allow us to efficiently investigate and respond during such incidents.

Feature Request: Add Folder Tree View with Result Count Display in Box Search
Currently, Box's search results page does not provide a folder tree view, making it impossible for users to visually understand how search results are distributed across the folder hierarchy. Users need the ability to exclude irrelevant department folders from their search results, but there is currently no way to get an overview of the folder structure within search results. Feature Request: Add Updated-By (Modifier) List Display and Filter in Box Search
Currently, Box's standard search UI does not provide a list of file modifiers (updated-by users) within search results, nor does it offer the ability to filter search results by a specific modifier. Users need the ability to find files based on who last updated them, but currently this is not possible unless the user already knows the exact name of the modifier. We request the addition of a faceted search feature that displays a list of modifiers found within the search results, allowing users to select and filter by a specific modifier directly from the search results page.

Feature Request: Add File Size Sorting Option to Box Search Results
Currently, Box's search results page does not offer the ability to sort results by file size. Users have a need to sort search results by file size, particularly for identifying large files or managing storage. We request the addition of a "File Size (ascending/descending)" sorting option to the search results page.

Feature Request: Display Per-Folder Result Count in Box Search
Currently, Box's search results page does not provide a breakdown of how many files match a search query within each folder. This makes it difficult for users to identify which folders contain the most relevant results and to efficiently locate target files. Enable Device Trust for Co-Administrators as Well
Under the current specification, device trust is not applied to administrators and co-administrators to prevent them from being accidentally locked out of the management console.
Because co-administrators have higher privileges than regular users, they can freely access the console from personal PCs and other unmanaged devices, which raises concerns about the risk of information leakage.
From a security perspective, we would like to request the implementation of a feature that allows administrators to choose whether to apply device trust to co-administrators (“enable” or “disable”).件名：共同管理者に対してもデバイストラストを適用可能にする

A save and continue button in Box Forms.
Save and Continue Option for Box Forms.
For longer forms this will allow users to start the form but then come back later to finish it.
We have an existing online form that has several input text fields and document upload fields.
Due to the length of the form, all of the submitters use the Save and Continue option that is available on our current form.
We want to convert this form to a Box Form but this one feature is a huge limitation for our users so we will not convert until this added feature is available.

Create folders during file moves or copies:
User pain point: When moving or copying a file, users cannot create a new destination folder directly from the move/copy dialog. They have to cancel or leave the action, create the folder beforehand, and then restart the move or copy process.Requested improvement: Add a “Create New Folder” option within the move and copy dialog, allowing users to create the destination folder without interrupting their current action.

Groups with external users: Allow external email addresses to be added to a group
Groups with external users: Allow external email addresses to be added to a group, making it easier to invite external agencies and grant them access to files. The goal would be to create a group for users from the same agency, including users with free Box accounts.

We'd like Box Agent to reference not only the files but also the text information within the Hub site
Before Box AI Home was released, when we asked the AI a question, it would reference not only the files linked within the Hub but also the text information on the site. However, after enabling AI Home and asking questions to the Box Agent in Hub, it now only references the content linked to the Hub. I would also like it to reference the text information (such as the descriptions written on the Hub site).

Align page numbering between Box browser preview and desktop app for PPT files
When previewing the same PPTX file in a browser versus opening it in the desktop app, the page numbering differs. The browser preview counts the cover page as page 1, while the desktop app does not count the cover page (the page after the cover becomes page 1).
PowerPoint itself has a setting to exclude the cover page from the page count, but Box's preview feature does not support this setting, causing a one-page offset between the two views.
This creates confusion in practice — for example, a reviewer referencing "page 35" based on the browser preview may find it…

We would like Box Automate to provide a folder action that enables email uploads for a specified folder and generates or retrieves the folder's email upload address.
Currently, email uploads must be enabled manually in the settings of each folder. This becomes time-consuming when folders are created dynamically or when the same configuration must be applied to many folders.
