Please allocate the API calls included with the license on a per-user basis rather than per tenant (EID).
With the current EID-based allocation, large organizations find it difficult even to conduct limited trials. This has become a blocker to starting projects because they cannot confidently justify purchasing additional API calls. While the current allocation may be sufficient for EIDs with a small number of users, applying the same allocation across EIDs of vastly different sizes is unfair.

Please allocate the AI Units included with the license on a per-user basis rather than per tenant (EID).

Automate Failure Notifications
Allow Admins/Co-Admins to set up automatic alerting or notifications if an Automate workflow has failed at any step. Currently, the only way to check this is to go to the Tracking page. Tracking needs notification events that can be enabled for better monitoring.

I want to embed information from other sites into Hubs.
I would like to embed and display content from other sites within Box Hubs using an iframe.
For example, I want to display an app created with Microsoft Power Apps inside Hubs.

Box Drive does not allow aliases on MacOS. This continues to be an issue on MacOS Tahoe
All in the title. After remapping aliases that were left in the Archived Box Sync folder, moved them into Bob Drive locations and they aliases no longer work. While they worked correctly within the Archived Box Sync folder - they went bust on Box Drive locations.
This is really counter productive. Such aliases make quick workflows.1 vote -
Rotating Images by 90° in Box Notes
With the latest Box Notes update, it is now possible to crop images pasted into a note directly.
It would be even more convenient if images pasted into a note could be rotated and saved in that state.

Enhanced Hide Function for Drive Folders/Files
Starting with Box Drive v2.48, it has become possible to hide folders and files. This is a very welcome feature.
However, when the “Show hidden files” setting is enabled in File Explorer, even if you use the folder hide function in Box Drive, the target folder is only grayed out on the screen and not completely hidden.
Users would be pleased if a more complete hide function were implemented.

Show Shield-flagged files in the folder list, and tell users when a folder download skips them
When Shield flags a file as malicious, there is no way to see that in All Files or the folder list. Users have to open each file to find the red banner. If someone downloads the whole folder, the flagged file is left out of the download and there is no notice of what was skipped.
Please add a clear indicator on flagged files in the folder view, and tell the user when a folder download omits a flagged file. End users should not have to click every item, and they should not lose content silently.

Please make sure that Box Drive automatically launches after every update.
If an update occurs before Box Drive launches when I start up my PC, Box Drive will stop launching automatically. This is especially true for Box Drive versions based on the new architecture, where I might not even notice that it hasn't launched, so I'd like it to launch automatically.

Customer wants to be able to add "File request" as a search option in the global search and content manager as they sometimes get asked to look for folders where file requests were uploaded to.

Box automate email notifications to non box emails
Box Automate should allow emails to be sent to addresses outside the company, especially when those addresses are pulled from a form field and used as a trigger value — allowing these workflows to reach external users

Enforce Content Owner's Box AI Home Policy for External Collaborators (Prevent External Search on Owned Content)
Background & Current Behavior:
Our organization has enabled Box AI but intentionally disabled Box AI Home. However, we discovered that external collaborators who have Box AI Home enabled in their own tenant can still use Box AI Home to search for and access our content. This applies to our content they have explicit permissions for, as well as content they do not have permissions for but have a viewing history of and can preview via a shared link.Problem & Security Risk:

List with optional Freeform
Provide users with the ability to enter free-form text into a LIST/Dropdown selection field when reviewing AI-Extract Metadata and then having that entered Text become part of the drop-down selection. See attached picture from another web-based tool with this functionality where admin can toggle on/off if they want it applied or not.

Content Manager collaborator visibility when folders hidden for collaborators
As Administrators, we anticipate the visibility of all collaborators in every folder within the Box Content Manager.
When a folder is configured to "Hide collaborators and their activity from non-owners," even Administrators utilizing the Content Manager are unable to view the collaborators (without notification), which complicates the troubleshooting process.
For instance, a folder may contain numerous collaborators, yet it remains invisible under the Manage Collaborators menu. Administrators should have access to all collaborative information; this is an essential aspect of their responsibilities. Additionally, the majority of Administrators are unaware of this issue.

Currently, the following Enterprise Setting controls both Box Automate workflow sharing and sharing of content located in AI Home session folders.

Allow Metadata Updates While a File Is Being Edited or Locked
Currently, file metadata cannot be updated when the file is being edited or locked by another user.
This behavior interferes with background systems that automatically apply or update metadata in response to events such as webhooks. For example, even when a background process only needs to update metadata and does not modify the file content itself, the metadata update fails if the file is currently locked.
We believe that restricting metadata updates simply because the file content is not writable is undesirable. Metadata updates should be treated independently from modifications to the file content.

Display folder sizes when sorting by size and support sorting by file count
In Box Web, content can be sorted by “Size,” but the Size column for folders displays the number of files rather than the folder’s storage size.
As a result, even when the contents are sorted by storage size, the screen may display file counts such as “1,000,” “20,” and “600.” This can lead users to mistakenly believe that the contents have not been sorted correctly.
