   Fujitsu can call our APIs and build this into their app.

2. Enhanced Locking User Experience / Show 'Would you like to lock?' Pop-Up After Clicking 'Open'

   When I go to open a file from the webapp, I want Box to help me be a good collaborator, meaning prompt me with "would you like to lock this file while editing?" before the file actually opens (via Box Edit).

   This isn't a request for a different lock/unlock flow with Box Edit -- it's a request for an enhanced experience between when a user clicks the 'open' button in the web app and when Box Edit actually kicks in.

   ISSUE: Box's lock/unlock UX is very 'soft' right now, compared to SharePoint's and a traditional Windows file server. As such, Box users are more likely to run into version conflicts and overwrites when editing in collaborated folders given that Box doesn't proactively help the user (force the user) to decide if they want to lock a file or not; it's very passive right now.

   GOAL: Help users avoid version conflicts in collaborated folders.

   REQUEST: Add a 'Would you like to lock this file?' pop-up after a user clicks the 'Open' button but BEFORE Box Edit kicks in to open the file.

   Specifics for the 'would you like to lock? pop-up:
   --It should only appear in folders that have collaborators in them
   --It should provide the user the option of 'remember my setting' to allow the user to 1) bypass this pop-up in the future and 2) ultimately bring us an 'auto-lock'-type UX, without auto-lock/unlock actually needing to be supported by Box Edit.

   Locking file has its own drawbacks about causing files to be inaccessible. We encourage users to use Office Online as a solution to avoid conflicts.

   Due to the sheer amount of partners, Box is only able to build Web App integrations for a fraction of those partners.

   This partner falls into the category that we won’t build an integration for them. They will need to call Box APIs and build against us.

7. SharePoint Online - Direct/Native Integration

   Currently, the only way to 'integrate' Box with SharePoint in a standard way is to manually use an HTML web part in SharePoint to add a Box Embed widget to a SharePoint page.

   This request is for an enhanced (and truly 'native') integration between SharePoint and Box such that:

   1. NATIVE WEB PART/UI: A user can easily 'add Box' to a SharePoint site/page
   2. AUTO-FOLDER CREATION: A Box folder tree can automatically be associated with a SharePoint site/page (instead of a Document Library in SharePoint), similar to the Salesforce integration
   3. PERMISSIONS: Automatic permission mapping such that the auto-created Box folder hierarchy 'inherits' the permissions that are already assigned to the SharePoint site: meaning if I have 'edit' access to the SharePoint page/site, I'll automatically get 'editor' access to the associated Box folder(s) - again, similar to the Salesforce integration
   4. SEARCH: Include the associated Box content from 2/3 above into the native SharePoint search index (similar to the Slack integration with Search)

9. Slack: Sync 'Comments' on Files Between Box & Slack

   Right now, when using the Box + Slack integration, Slack imports a 'pointer' to a Box file (when a shared link is posted), and then keeps that file's search index updates based on changes that happen in Box.

   REQUEST: Extend this integration further to sync any Comments made on the file between Box and Slack.

   In Slack, I can add a Comment to the imported Box file by clicking 'add comment', and in Box I can 'add Comment' -- it'd be nice if the comment added to the file directly in Slack also synced and was added automatically as a Comment on the file in Box as well.

10. Jira Integration - 'Attach from Box'

    Work with Jira to provide a Box integration allowing Box files to be easily 'attached' to Jira issues. Currently, users can choose from content locally stored on their computer when attaching files to issues, but this request is for:

    1. An integration that would allow the user to 'attach from Box'
    2. Once a Box file is 'attached' to an issue, Jira would then keep that content in sync between Box and Jira (just like Slack does)

11. Lucidchart Enhanced Two-Way Integration

    The current Box + Lucidchart integration is based on the 'More Actions' menu in the Box webapp.

    REQUEST: Work with Lucidchart to extend this integration to a true two-way integration (similar/exactly the same as what Lucidchart already has with Google Drive - https://www.lucidchart.com/pages/google-apps), allowing the user to save to Box from Lucidchart and more.

12. Consistent Support Helpdesk Info Across Endpoints

    Currently, admins can control the Custom Support Information (Helpdesk contact info) that appears in the web app. However, admins cannot control the support information shown in all endpoints, like Box for Office.

    This will help large enterprises avoid confusion with their end users.

15. Insert/sync metadata from Office DIP (Document Information Profile) to Box

    Microsoft Office products have a Document Information Profile (aka the DIP) which allows users to add custom metadata to a file under the "info" section when a file is opened or being edited. WE would like Box to be able to identify this information and insert it into the metadata fields in Box.

17. Require Editing ONLY via Office Online for Certain Files (disable Box Edit at the file level)

    Use Case: I have a spreadsheet that I know will be highly collaborative; as such, I want to prevent people from being able to use Box Edit with the file and I want to require that they edit it using Office Online due to enhanced co-authoring, etc.

    Basically, this would be a 'only allow edits using Office Online'-type setting at the file level.
