  1. Detailed reports on the number of API calls

    The API has a rate limit, and an error will occur if it is exceeded.
    This time, an error occurred because the number of API calls exceeded the rate limit.
    We would like to launch apps during times when the number of API calls is low, but at this time there is no way to check the number of API calls in a time range.

    Please implement a report that allows us to see which apps are making API calls, at what time of day, and to what extent.

  2. share reports in a parent folder

    When you create a weekly scheduled report (User Activity report for example) and share it with a user (as a Viewer), this user sees too many folder named "User Activity run on xxxxxx".
    It is because it's the report subfolder that is shared with the user, and not the "Box reports" folder.

    Is it possible to store scheduled reports inside a parent folder (like "Box user reports") or a named one by the administrator creating the report ?

  3. User Details Report: Add "Confirmation Column"

    If the User Details Report can have a Confirmation column, it allows Admins to know exactly who has completed signing up for Box and who needs to complete their sign up process.

    It can also let us know that if someone is experiencing issues confirming their email, then we can see if any others are having issues by seeing if they are confirmed or not.

  4. Rename "Content Accessed" event and improve documentation

    The "Content Accessed" event in the Admin Report is a bit confusing as documented and labeled today. We had an incident where a folder was available to staff inappropriately and used the Admin Report to investigate those who accessed it. It was reasonable for us to believe that users who had a "Content Accessed" event meant that they had accessed the content in some meaningful way. Instead, it simply means that they viewed the metadata of the file in some way in the portal. That's useful information, but the label should probably be clearer about that -- perhaps "Viewed Metadata"…

  5. Ability to schedule Platform Activity Report

    Ability to schedule Platform Activity Report so that admin can monitor API usage on a regular basis. Additional filters for that report in the console will also be helpful. At the moment, admin has to open the report in Excel and do manual filtering.

  6. Folders and Files reports - exclude filename

    Provide the ability to exclude filename from "Folders and Files" reports. We would like to be able to exclude this field since it may contain sensitive data. This is currently a field that is not able to be excluded. If there is a required field we would prefer if to be File ID. This is important since we would like to be able to perform usage analysis but do not want to provide sensitive data (even metadata) to our data analysts.

  7. Audit Report on Users with Access

    It would be nice to have a report that allows you to select a folder and it returns a list of all the users that have access to that folder or any folder below it. This would be handy in the event that a person needed to run an audit of user accesses within a given structure.

  9. Ability to distinguish logs with classification labels added or removed from the report.

    The logs of adding and deleting classification labels will be output from the User Activity Report as "Add Template" and "Delete Template".
    However, since the details are blank, it is not possible to determine from the user activity report whether the logs actually add or remove classification labels.
    Therefore, I would like to see the addition and deletion of classification labels added to the items as "Add Classification Label" and "Delete Classification Label" instead of "Add Template" and "Delete Template".
    If it is difficult, I would like to see it placed in the detail column so that we can distinguish…

  10. Add date and time of application of classification labels to the Classification Report

    The current classification report lists which content is assigned which classification label, but does not show the date and time the label was applied or the user who applied the label.
    The date of application and the user who applied the label are displayed in the folder/file details, but this is only the case when the classification label is applied manually.

    We would like to add an item to the classification report because it is expected to take time to investigate the cause when a classification label is unintentionally changed, and there is a security risk such as information leakage…

  11. allow for setting schedule for a report that's been run (and saved) once

    Hi

    an (easily implemented?) suggestion: when a file report is saved and run once, it seems that it can not be easily re-run on a schedule - one has to create a completely new report and set the schedule from the start. This is not ideal - I like to test things out before I commit to a schedule. Can you allow admins to set/change the schedule for a saved report even though the original saved report is a one-off/manually run?

    The number of managed users increases through folder invitations between users.
    Hopefully, gives alerts per month, per week to an admin.

    Users who are active but do not actually operate and use for a long period of time.

    We have a need to report on when a managed or external user views the list of collaborators on a folder. Also, ability to hide collaborators, unless owner/co-owner, for all folders and from an admin console standpoint, versus configuring at the folder level.

  14. We would like the ability to track files pasted into Box Notes when I can no longer see them.

    ・Paste the shared link in the box note.
    ・Click the "Insert a preview of this file?" button.
    ・At some point, the link preview that I was watching was displayed as "Sorry, you don't have permission to view this file."

  17. Add information about deleting tasks to the User Activity Report

    If a task is accidentally deleted, the current User Activity Report can't see who deleted what task and when.
    There is currently no way to check if the deleted task was really unnecessary.
    We would like to see more items related to the task function in the User Activity Report so that administrators can see who deleted what tasks and when.

  18. Exclude Geographical access through Microsoft Applications

    In the Geographic Activity and its Report, it shows access from countries like United States and Singapore where it is accessed not from those countries but via Microsoft integration.
    it would be great if it can be removed because it is not actually accessed from those countries.

  20. Add information about when users clicks a bookmark to the user activity report

    Currently, the behavior when users click a bookmark created in Box and move to the link destination is not included in the user activity report.
    Administrators want to check which they used bookmarks and when from Box and which sites they accessed from the log.
