Allow to set up notifications to flag activity on a file level rather than folder
Allow similar notification currently available on a folder level to be set up on a file level.
Thank you for the suggestion. We are actively looking into additional notification types and what our users might find valuable. Please continue to add use cases and feedback to help us prioritize for future releases.
Our office is new to Box. Everyone in the office needs access to all the folders. However, not everyone wants to receive notifications on every file. Lawyers and staff have complained they are inundated with e-mail notifications on files on which they have no interest. It would help so much if we could control by file who in the office will receive notifications. Thanks.

Our users want to get notifications for a specific folder or document because changing the settings at the parent folder level would result in notifications that are not helpful

We keep hearing this from our users as well. They have used this feature in the past with Documentum and now they miss this in Box.
We are constantly asked by our user-base for this feature. SharePoint has this feature and it's sorely missed in Box.
