Box Sign Template Edit Underlying Document
My customers who use DocuSign today are accustomed to applying a Signature template to a document. For example, I have a contract I am going to make edits to the language of the contract, the date, the dollar amount, etc. and then apply a signature template and send it off.
In Box today, I've found that you can either use a template (but the underlying document cannot be changed) or you can utilize template tags via API (which are handy, but I imagine my less tech savvy clients would find them challenging to set up).

It would be great to have the ability to edit the templates by only changing the 'base' document. For example, if the wording changes in the document, but all the fields remain the same, I have to create a new template using the new 'base' document and add all the fields again. It would great if I could just replace the 'base' document.

Totally Agree! I have hundreds of documents that are formatted exactly the same, but have just some small changes to the data of each document. I am not able to apply a single template to each of these but have to upload each doc and create the signature fields on each one manually. So much time can be saved if I can apply a single template to multiple documents. I don't use Box sign for this reason alone.
