iPad Bluebeam integration: Allow edits to be made on web instead of download
When a user opens Box in Bluebeam application (via our integration with them) on web, you can make your edits + save back to Box. This is not working the same on iPad: to do this, you have to download it to make edits (this is specific to iPad).

Google-Box Integration: Allow "Add to Box" for files over 25GB sent via email
My team uses Box for Gmail and enjoys the functionality. However, when they’re receiving an incoming email with a file attached over 25GB, Google converts this file into a link instead of keeping it an attachment. When they click the Box integration to save it to Box, they can’t, because it’s a link and won’t show up as an option to upload into Box. Is this something the Box team can fix/work around?
5 votesGlad you are enjoying the Box for Gmail integration! Unfortunately, the 25GB behavior is a limitation on the Google side, meaning Box cannot do anything to fix this. Please reach out to your Google account team to get it prioritized on their roadmap.

Enable Import from Box within Gsuite
In the GSuite integration, we cannot access File>Import in order to pull in spreadsheets and keep the formatting. Copy/pasting takes additional time and formats incorrectly. Please add the File>Import functionality to the GSuite integration (this is available via GDrive, but not via the Box integration).

Make DocuSign Required Envelope Fields show in the Box Integration
We currently have fields that are required on every envelope for our DocuSign account (Envelope Custom Fields). These fields are not available to enter data (in our case, it is a pull down list) in the Box Integration. Therefore, envelopes created through the Box integration do not have these fields.
We can get the fields on the envelope via applying a template that includes the fields. However, we would like to see the fields without using a template.6 votesHello, please reach out to the Docusign team with this feedback, as they own and maintain this integration.

Allow login from email addresses associated with partnered org to be authenticated by box, rather than exclusively by org
Email address I wanted to use for Box login led me to default authentication screen for partnered organization. And yet I could not log in to Box through my authenticated credentials to that org because I wasn't a current member of that institution but a retired one (I do have a valid authenticated login with that organization, as well as valid email address that survived my service at the org, but since I am retired I am not granted organization-sponsored Box access).

Allow uploading of files to locked NetSuite records
NetSuite workflows or script can lock a record, typically for approval purposes. Box file behavior should follow standard NetSuite file cabinet attachment behavior, namely, attachment permission is separated from the lock record function, so that files can still be attached, deleted, or renamed in Box on locked NetSuite records.

Allow companies with o365 and Gdocs to sign into either with different domains
Companies have to be either or with o365 or gDocs and our company, for one, uses both with 2 different domains. We'd love to keep all our docs on box but currently we can't log in and get the functions of one without signing out of the other other and totally losing those integrations. We would like for Box to be able to accept 1 domain for o365 integration and a different domain for gDocs integration.

Get a Link in Microsoft Teams integration
Playing with Microsoft Teams, I discovered that for files stored in the generic/default section of Teams, you can "Get a link" to copy the hyperlink for the file to your clipboard. When I add the integrated Box storage feature, though, files there do not offer the "Get a link" option. It really needs it, otherwise convenience will steer people to NOT use Box for storage.

Provide BIM management in Box to access Construction market
As we are partnering with Autocad to integrate Box in there tools, it would be great to support BIM file formats, which are starting to get more and more common in construction and building management industries.
This could help Box Sales team to address new markets through Autocad RevIt integration for example.

NetSuite - More information on 'Box Record Folder' custom record
In the NetSuite-Box integration (v2) there is a custom record type (Box Record Folder). A record is created for each folder created in Box for each NetSuite record. This record currently contains the following information: NetSuite Record ID, Box Record Folder ID, and NetSuite Record Type. I would like to see more information on this record that would allow useful searches of Box information (via this custom record) without having to create additional Box integrations or scripting inside NetSuite. Specifically, I'd like to see:

For the Salesforce managed package, integrate with built-in merge funcionality
Currently, within Salesforce, if records are merged, the link to the child Box folder gets lost and orphaned. The integration should hook into this out-of-the-box functionality to maintain data integrity for Box files on the platform.

Export individual application controls
The current individual application control has around 150 pages worth of applications. It would be easier for us to better manage individual app (enable/ disable/ add by default) if we can export everything to a report, sort of like bulk edit.
10 votesThank you for sharing this idea. Please note that it is currently possible to filter the list of apps in the Admin Console's Apps section by its status of Available / Disabled / Added by default.
However, providing a way to export a report of the apps in Boxs' apps catalog with their statuses is not on our nearby development roadmap.

Mask tenant ID
We're concerned that the full tenant ID is showing in the admin console and could be compromised if the account has been compromised. We'd like to somehow hide/mask some part of the tenant ID like how a credit card appears (as an example) in any system where only last 4 digits are being shown.

SSO for Salesforce Community for Box free External Collaborator License
We have a growing Salesforce Community. Some have their own Box accounts; others do not and are provided with Box free External Collaborator license. However we want to implement Box for Salesforce Community for all our users. Currently we can not implement SSO with free External Collaborators.

SSO - Partial replication
Allow SAML assertion to translate Azure’s GroupID attribute to name and allow the option to only select a subset of IDP groups for Box synchronization.
