  1. Add Partner Tags in the Web App

  3. Box for Office - Email Uploads

    When email uploading into Box, we'd like the option to add collaborators and permission levels in the dialog box confirming the file name, vs having to in later in Box as a second step in a second system.

    Else - defaulting rights to Viewer Uploader for all email recipients to ensure they can view the content, but we'd still have the content protected.

  4. Receive Box browser notifications while using Skype

    We would like Box to send Browser notifications in Skype whenever there is a comment directed to you (Facebook does it through Chrome).

    We want to be able to keep a conversation in Box (which is possible now with comments) AND easily notify the participants that are not in Box or have not checked email, but may be in Skype.

  5. Allow multiple Microsoft Tenant IDs for Office 365 to be associated with one EID

    Allow multiple tenant IDs admins to add these manually in the admin console.

  6. Consistent Support Helpdesk Info Across Endpoints

    Currently, admins can control the Custom Support Information (Helpdesk contact info) that appears in the web app. However, admins cannot control the support information shown in all endpoints, like Box for Office.

    This will help large enterprises avoid confusion with their end users.

  7. Office Online Chat

    We want to use the Office Online Chat feature when concurrently editing a Microsoft document in Box leveraging Office Online.

    We want our users to use our commenting feature more instead. It’s not on strategy for us to integration with Office Online chatting features. Please file a Gap Request for web app so this in on their radar when prioritizing commenting features.

  11. Create Adobe Premiere Pro Integration

    Will Box will work as a video editing platform? I would love to store video files on the Cloud, project files, audio files, etc., and then use my iMac's Adobe software Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, etc. to edit content.

    At present, a user could open a PDF in Box from Acrobat and save to another service (which could be a personal account)

    Fujitsu can call our APIs and build this into their app.

    This request has been raised with MSFT several times as there is no provision in the WOPI protocol to solve this as is. They have communicated that this is not on their roadmap

    Would like granularity in providing permissions. Only allow permissions to a certain folder for integrations and not the whole root level folder.

  19. Insert/sync metadata from Office DIP (Document Information Profile) to Box

    Microsoft Office products have a Document Information Profile (aka the DIP) which allows users to add custom metadata to a file under the "info" section when a file is opened or being edited. WE would like Box to be able to identify this information and insert it into the metadata fields in Box.

  20. Provide read-only folders of approved documents to send for signature

    In this case, the file is actually edited, so it is difficult under the current model to provide read-only access but still allow that user to sign.
