Account provision based on invitation received.
Hi
Case #3378972. Refer this for details.When someone in our domain receives an invitation to collaborate in a folder and they don’t yet have a Box account, an account will be provisioned and that user will automatically become a managed user under your enterprise instance. This is some kind of a backdoor account creation which we want to have a control on. We have account approval process where Cost Center managers review and approve the license cost. Need this capability to have a control over this way of account creation.

I want to be able to bulk rename files and folders within a specified folder
Bulk renaming files and folders in a specified Box folder though the web interface is a missing feature.
It would be helpful to be able to do so, as often clients or projects change name and the "CompanyA - content of the folder" or "ProjectA - content of the folder" names need to be renamed as "CompanyB - content of the folder" or "ProjectB - content of the folder".

Display more information in Upload Error message in Box Drive
It would be helpful to have more information shared in the Upload Error notification that’s displayed for admins when a user tries to upload content to a folder that has run out of storage. It would be helpful for the error message to display information such as account name, email, or login of the user. Currently, if an organization imposes storage quotas for their users, admins will receive this message anytime a user tries to upload content to a full folder. Display of confirmation message screen to prevent accidental operation of Box Drive
When using Box Drive, it is common for users to accidentally delete, move, or copy files.
When manipulating large numbers of files, this failure can lead to serious information leaks and other problems.
Therefore, it would be helpful to improve functionality such as displaying a confirmation message when deleting, moving, or copying files to better prevent accidental operations.7 votes -
Ability to Dismiss Error Messages Not Just Retry
Error messages show up every morning and there is no way to clear them other than to Retry them. They are legitimate errors where the solution was to do something different, which I did, and my initial issue was resolved. However, these error messages persist, and retrying them will always produce the same error. There is no “dismiss” option. Since retrying them will will always produce the same error, there is no way to get rid of these errors.
Box Support documentation gives no other option but to Retry. There is nothing listed about clearing messages that cannot be resolved…

Request: flexibility of the pop up which notify in advance Drive users when moves of large #s of contents at once
This release is good news for us because we have a lot of Box Drive users.

So we want to display the message even if the #s of contents' are smaller than 8000.

Box drive for surface pro
I have the latest surface pro laptop, but it says box drive is not compatible with this device. I use the drive version heavily for work and prefer not use a different content management software. . Surface pro suggested reaching out to box for support. The model features the Snapdragon X plus (10 core)/ X Elite. Can you provide an update that makes the drive compatible?

Allowing BOX to mount a mapped network drive on local system
The Vast majority of competitors of BOX allow for a mounted virtual drive . BOX would be more useful if you can assign certain BOX folders to a mapped network drive

I wish it was possible to see who's been invited on BoxDrive as well.-in Japanese-

How about someone to talk to that can address technical questions. It is almost impossible to get someone to help me with a problem of file transfer and simply opening a file once it is in box.

Prevent saving files on local disk to folders that the user does not have access to. At present just a warning pops up but non-tech-savvy users don't know what to do with that, and the errant files can only be found by logging in as that user on that particular machine. If there was some way to not allow invalid local saves it would be very helpful!

install and syncronize box in a chosen folder
I am windows user. I wanted to install box and syncronize my box files in my local D: drive, because my C: drive is full. Surprisingly, the installation process of Box app does not provide such an option (of selecting which drive to install Box to). It by default is installed on C: drive . This is very insane. Windows Users can choose to install which drive to install any app.

When I attempt to proceed with the two-step verification process, I am prompted to scan a QR code and input a 6-digit authentication code. However, I am unsure how to complete this setup and gain access to the shared content.

Request for additional notification settings for BoxDrive
Is it possible to add a setting that periodically sends pop-up notifications when something is on hold or when there is a synchronization error? (It would be ideal to be able to select ON/OFF)
